Both of us enjoyed our dinner though we dined on starters because the entrees seemed to fit the colder weather. My dining companion had the fennel soup, which presentation alone made you want to tuck in. She also had the potato pancakes that were plentiful. I had the tuna tartare with a delicious herb sauce & the outstanding, crunchy chick pea fries with a tangy harissa sauce. The fries alone will make me go back. We will be back.

Love it and highly recommend. The waiters and bartenders are well seasoned and know how to guide you with every selection. Caesar salad was wonderful with full leaves and 1” square croutons cooked in butter were yummy. The warm bread and salted butter was over the top. Great wine selection too.

Dining at One Market is always a joy. The pastrami sandwiches I choose is comfort food, which makes me happy, and service is exceptionally friendly. The overall vibe is also good, putting me on a natural high all day!

The four course menu items were all exquisitely delicious, so kudos to the Chef! Service was generally good with some slow spots and incorrect dessert, but switched it out quickly. The bar seems amateurish. I asked for a simple appletini. The first attempt tasted like whiskey with some kind of juice, so I returned it. The second attempt was correctly vodka-based, but they used apple juice. I accepted it, but finally told our server nicely at the end of the meal that appletini is vodka and green apple liqueur.

I have fond memories of One Market from its early days and haven't dined there in many years. I was disappointed to see how the shine had come off the original form. I am sure it's a function of the post-pandemic white tablecloth dining volumes.

Had a business lunch. Food and service were great (best p[astrami I have ever had--take note Katz's and Langer's) and the acoustics are perfect for a meeting. This is something that is very hard to find today in a popular restaurant nowadays. Will return soon.

NYE experience for a family of 4. On the menu was a 4 course meal with great options to chose from including a vegetarian one. It was good and tasty. We even had a glass of champagne for midnight celebration! The restaurant is conveniently located in front of the ferry building. Just step out on the curb to see the fireworks!! Valet parking was $15. All in all this was a great way to ring in the new year!

One Market is one of my favorite spots anywhere in the world. But with all the years of coming here, we had never joined them for New Year's Eve. It was a magical and wonderful evening full of great food and wine, and capped by the Ferry Building fireworks. We may have to make this a new tradition!

We spent an early NYE here with friends. The manager and hostess warmly welcomed us upon arrival. The place was beautifully decorated and they had a wonderful piano player in the bar which created a great atmosphere for the lit up Ferry Building backdrop outside the wide picture windows. The reasonably priced four course prix fix dinner had plenty of options including lobster bisque, lamb shanks, smoked trout, scallops and many more. Two of us had the NY strip steak which was delicious with peppercorn sauce. The molten chocolate cake with ice cream was divine. The food was really superb and Tonya the wine steward is one of the best sommeliers in the City. The only drawback was that our waiter was not that attentive. It was busy for NYE but I tried to get his attention to order more wine before our entrees came and he did not seem to pick up on the cues that we are wine and food people who know what service should look like. There was also a mix up to retrieve our cars with the valet at the end of the dinner so they didn't have their act together on who was doing what with the cars that night. Otherwise it was a very positive evening and I would return.

Had a great time. Very attentive service staff. Food was seasoned well and served at the proper temperatures. NYE menu and prefix pricing was appropriate for quality and serving sizes.

Service was the problem. Gentleman at front desk was surly and couldn't be bothered during a very quiet Tues lunch. Waitress was inattentive, was not familiar with menu and spoke very quickly. Also wouldn't visit table for long periods. Given the prices, not optimal.

Food / experience overall was nice, except we felt like we were being rushed by the waiter. After ordering cocktails and stating we didn't want to order food until we got the cocktails and enjoyed them, he took the wine list and we had to ask for it. He did not bother to ask us if we wanted to speak to the master sommelier! Once we were enjoying our cocktails, he came by numerous times to see if we were ready to order - and when we said we just wanted to order our appetizers for now and enjoy them, he stated the kitchen wouldn't be able to handle our order if we didn't order it all at the same time. The restaurant was busy but was NOT packed, so the rush we felt was unwarranted. Again, we never spoke to the sommelier. We gave him the benefit of the doubt as it was Christmas and while we were / are thankful for people working on the holiday, if you didn't want to be there then don't work it. Needless to say, if he was expecting a nice Christmas tip (which we would have given) he did not receive it from my husband and our friend!

We always enjoy having dinner at One Market, especially holiday dinners. Excellent food and wonderful collection of wines. We always appreciate Tonia, the somiler, who always gives us the background of the wine that we have selected.

friendly greeting upon arrival. waitstaff knowledgeble describing menu. when we mentioned that we'd be sharing items the either split some items or brought extra share plates. when ordering one specific dessert the waiter recommended an alternative saying he wasn't happy with the results of the first.

It had been at least 6 years since I had been to One Market. Woah, I have been missing out. We entered into the elegantly decorated restaurant and immediately received a warm welcome from the hostess. Had a well crafted Mezcal Negroni and Manhattan while we waited for the rest of our party. Then we were seated and the night just kept getting better. Our waiter was very attentive and proactive. Each course was amazing - the chestnut soup, pave entree and prime rib were the favorites but all was excellent. The highlight was the stellar service from the sommelier Tonya Pitts. Her love of what she does shines with her service and her thoughtful recommendations based on each diner and wine knowledge is so unique. We won't wait 6 years to return ! Well done!!
