Craved for a quick bite
Craved for some good guacamole and before you know it I ended up at Playa Azul. Of course then I saw ceviche on the menu , and not just any ceviche but octopus ceviche. I had to have it. And no regrets, besides if you order the guacamole, bring friends as the portion is too big for one to finish.
The guacamole was simply delicious and the octopus ceviche spot on, soft yet crunchy.
The one thing that could be better are the chips, they tasted a bit stale for my taste. Add a beer to this combo and you ready for a happy nap afterwards.

Next up I will have to work myself through their tequila bar and sample their seafood selection.

Thumbs up

Drinks are great in taste and flavor in food is delicious. Plate had huge juicy shrimp and sauce was creamy. Plates portions are also large so plenty of food.

If you're looking for the best mexican cuisine focused on seafood specialities then this is the place for you. A full tequila bar on both levels. In the back is a nice hideout for locals. I have to say they have the best cheladas in anywhere on earth.

I can’t say enough about the amazing team here! From the moment I walked in, I was met with nothing but positivity, professionalism, and genuine care. Maria, Sandra, Maria, Martha, Reyna, Caro, and Vicky are absolute stars. You can tell they truly love what they do—every interaction feels effortless, friendly, and real. On top of that, they make the best margaritas in town and have a wide selection of tequila that keeps things exciting every visit. It’s rare to find a group of employees who bring this much energy and dedication every single day, but this crew does it naturally. If you’re looking for a place where the staff makes all the difference, this is it.

Overly priced drinks, overly priced food for bland food and horrible service! We waited for 15 mins when a table was cleared and I had to aak the wait staff why we weren’t seated and all she could say is that the table next to the empty table was not done yet, It made no sense but the service lacked any attention to patrons, food was very bland. This was great, WAS.

We used to come here years ago, and even though the place has changed, the food and drinks are still amazing!

Everything was delicious! We found this place by reviews and it was definitely worth it! When food arrived at our table, we were shocked to see how much of it there was. If you order the filet and lobster dish, just know you can easily share it with at least one or two other people. So good! The dessert was beyond satisfying!
