Ideally, I'd give it a 2.5/5.Plentea has a charming atmosphere. The shop itself is small but inviting, with terrariums lining the walls, adding a touch of nature. They offer a wide variety of drinks, from classic milk teas to fresh fruit options and even smoothies. You can also choose between getting your drink in a reusable glass bottle or a standard plastic cup, which is a nice eco-friendly touch.Unfortunately, my experience with the actual drink fell a bit short. I opted for the Thai tea, a classic boba flavor. While the presentation was nice, the taste was a little disappointing. The tea itself was quite bitter, and there was a slightly chalky aftertaste.Overall, Plentea is a cute spot with good intentions. However, based on my experience with Thai tea, the flavor execution needs some work. If you're looking for a trendy boba shop with a wide variety of options, Plentea might be worth a try. But if you're a boba purist seeking the perfect cup, you might want to keep exploring.

Piece of glass came out of Plentea signature drink.First I thought it was a boba and chew it but noticed it was harder for it to be a boba. I took it out from my mouth and it was a hard piece of glass. Thanksfully did not swallow it.I told the guy and said sorry to me but did not give any refund back.It is a good place to be but they lost me on this one.

The store is so cute and I love how creative the menu is. Only one person was working at that time- taking orders and making drinks. I felt like that would be overwhelming since a lot of people were waiting in line. I ordered the Matcha Plentea and I enjoyed it. It was so refreshing and perfectly sweet. Coming back to try the other teas

Tried house black (got a glass cup for free!) Wasn't very sweet 5.45 nvm kinda sweet. Good tea flavor. Hardish boba (not as soft as I wanted)11.20.2023. A little confused about the pricing because I think the menu in the store is not updated. Plentea 7.25 (I added honey tapioca for 0.50). I asked for a glass bottle. Plentea is basically a potted plant drink. Tea I believe, topped with milk and crushed oreos. The oreos added a nice cookies n' cream taste and a different texture. Boba was decent, a little on the firm side. Now that I've tried plentea a couple of times, I don't think it makes my favorites list or perhaps I didn't choose the right drinks. A solid boba place, just not my FAVORITE. (I do like the bottles tho).01.16.2024. Regular milk tea with boba. The boba was hardish. I wonder because it was sitting out for a while in the jars? Also got a fruit tea with jelly.03.06.2024. Matcha latte potted plant + boba. YUM. oreo definitely added cookies and cream flavor which was yummy. matcha was stronggg.

This is the kind of place where I’d be crushed if it ever closed. I’ve been coming for over 5 years and it’s always my first stop when I visit SF. The sea salt cream oolong is the best drink I’ve ever had.

There were so many seeds in the bottom of the tea by the boba that it made it impossible to enjoy.

One of my go to's whenever I'm in the area! Highly recommend their grape fruit tea with sea salt crema (blueberry is my second choice)! The tea flavors here are better than the other boba shops. I still opt for 0% sugar, but y'all may want to go a little bit higher.Sustainability is one of their core values. They offer glass bottles at the same price. You can get 10% off your drink if you reuse it!

Really amazing boba shop, you can get little glass plentea bottles to drink from and take as souvenirs. Highly recommended, quality product with very reasonable prices (especially for sf)

Ordered Earl Grey to pick up. Sitting in my car waiting for an appointment so pick up time was quick. When I picked it up , the guy there just ignored me. No greeting, I had to askel for service. When I checked my drink no boba. Had to go back in and ask to fix it.The young man there is rude. He snickered at me and this is a rude thing to do for someone who is paying your SF rent better love everyone coming in.
