Came for an ice coffee and a croissant and both were delicious. Lovely spot with lots of seating

Speck sandwich with goat cheese and arugula was nice but odd that there’s no option to add chips or a side salad.

The best place in San Francisco where to eat good food, drink a good coffee, and stay either to talk with friends or having an aperitivo. I always spend my afternoons in here, as it is a cozy, warm place were to feel welcoming!

✨ A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home – Poesia Cafe ✨

Stepping into Poesia Cafe in the Castro is like being transported straight to a cozy coffee shop somewhere in Europe. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, and a kind ambiance.

The coffee is absolutely delicious – rich, smooth, and crafted with care. Every sip took me back to mornings spent in little cafés home, where the espresso is strong, and the smiles are genuine. Their pastries are out of this world, too.

This place has heart. From the friendly staff to the calm, inviting atmosphere, Poesia Cafe is everything a neighborhood café should be. It’s now my go-to spot for coffee, pastries, and a little peace in the middle of the day.

Can’t recommend it enough. A true treasure in the Castro.

The best cafe in the Castro. Good coffee, pastries, and sandwiches with a European flair.

It's a nice area with lots of outdoor seating, but they're super under staffed. One person in front and one person clearing tables/delivering food.

Lovely spot for a croissant or sandwich and a coffee. All looked amazing. I had a Nutella croissant and did not regret my decision. Went with my mom where we each had a coffee outside (flat white and cappuccino) with our croissants and it was the closest I’ve felt to Spain, where my mom is from. Service was great.

Lovely local spot. Outdoor seating is perfect on a sunny day, with great wines, good simple food and coffee. I’m glad I live so close
