Such a great experience!
The oysters and cioppino were delicious. I rarely write opinions but this restaurant deserved it. Highly recommend !

Had an average experience here. The manilla clam linguine was okay - not much flavor. The fish and chips were alright. Service was alright as well.

Now that it has been taken over by Tacolisious it is only good for oysters . When it originally opened under
the original chef her fish was beyond compare. The fried fish were lightly breaded almost like tempura with a seasoning. Now they are heavy handed with the batter and less fish. It appears that Tacolisious dosen't know what it wants to be anymore. The service and food at there Chestnut street location up the street has poor service and food quality is dropping. Now they have taken a wonderful restaurant when it opened down the road to mesa mesa food.

Went to Popi’s for the first time for HH. Awesome food / drink options for a very reasonable price. Quick, friendly service, delicious snacks on the HH menu (oysters, mussels, and baby fried shrimp sandos). Got some bread and butter to dip the bread in the mussel broth. Sat outside on a beautiful (but windy) day. Highly recommend!

Great brunch place for oysters where a glass of a Rose served for you to wait to be seated in chill and pleasure. Recommended

Very busy small but great place to eat. Everything fresh and a unique, in a good way, chowder. Worth the stop, a little high on the cost, but it's Cali.

Such a great experience! The oysters were buttery and delicious. The service was great — very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is lovely too, perfect for enjoying seafood while people-watching. Highly recommend if you’re craving fresh seafood in a relaxed setting!

Oysters were fresh, soft shell crab sandwich was flavorful if not very hot (temperature, not spiciness). Pricey.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Everything was a 10/10. Diego was my server and was fantastic. Amazing place. Had oysters, crab avocado, shrimp toast and deviled eggs with caviar.

Can someone explain to me how a restaurant can charge $38 for cioppino that has three prawns, three mussels, three clams, a piece of fish and some frozen calamari, oh plus Another fake 5% charge which is added on so the total is over $40. Pretty average food and very pricey. And don’t forget, another 5% will be added to your bill as a fake charge.. Stay away.

We enjoyed a bottle of french sauvignon blanc, oysters, and the halibut tartare. It was a perfect break from walking around the neighborhood and a chance to enjoy the sunshine from our seats on the sidewalk. The halibut tartare was the most amazing we've had in our lives and if you can get the Kumamoto oysters, do not pass them up -- they were our favorites by far. The meal was so good we went back within a few days. Can't wait to return.

Popi’s is our favorite seafood restaurant in the neighborhood! The food is delicious, space is adorable and the staff are so nice. We usually get the fried calamari, Caesar salad, and try something new/seasonal!

Fantastic seafood feast! Raw bar was very good, with a nice variety of creamy Pacific oysters, cold dungeness crab was also very fresh and sweet. But, the real star of the show were the dishes. Each one was fantastic. Bravo to the kitchen. Service was also very warm and friendly. Ambience is a nice cozy restaurant, not too formal but still nice and intimate. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting SF.

Hit the oyster happy hour on Tuesdays! Welcoming, efficient staff (Erin was stand out great!!!) and top chefs who know what they’re doing with every dish. I like sitting at the bar and watching the chefs cook! Fresh, fresh ingredients. Loved every single happy hour item, esp the oysters and all seafood items. Fairly priced, fresh, flavorful. Also designed like a cool ship/sailor vibe- very marine!
