I found this place very randomly as I was simply walking around and did not know this place at all. However, it did not disappoint! Beijing Duck potstickers and the cauliflower flaming pot are both delicious. Although it’s slightly hard to get the waiter’s attention at the entrance and upon newly seated, once they are aware of my existence, all the waitresses are super nice and can provide service quickly.

Amazing food , great vibe . In middle of chinatown , great walk from the bay , port of sfo
Inspired to try Dumpling Fusion because of enthusiastic recommendations on Instagram. My family and I enjoyed a unique experience! The soup dumplings were extraordinary and the presentation of our dishes so singular! The staff are very attentive without hovering, so helpful in describing selections and will ensure that your dishes are not overcrowding your table by deftly placing an additional one. This dining adventure warrants a return. Will be coming again!! Highly advise to make reservations to ensure a table.
Absolutely delicious dumplings, done with flair. I particularly appreciated the veggie Bao, which had a more complex and umami esque veggie filling than I'm used to, and the veggie Dumplings, which had some spice in the filling, again making it unique compared to other places. The smashed cucumber salad had radishes, cherry tomatos, frisee alongside the abundant cucumbers and a delicious dressing. The peking duck dumpling and the crispy chicken dumplings were also delightful. The only thing I didn't love was the crab puff, although others at my table did; it seemed to have some sort of creamy filling alongside the crab and was fried, so more heavy than my preference. One can tell the chef is creative and takes pride in what they do. We also had pork soup dumplings, which were much like other places although bigger, so served in a big spoon so one could catch the broth after puncturing the dumpling. The service was warm and efficient. The restaurant is small and not luxurious, no table cloths, no carts coming around, but perfectly appealing and an extremely good value. We ate till we were extremely full and it came to $25 per person plus tip. Can't wait to go back. One more thing, it is very close to the #8 bus stop, only a two minute walk, and also two blocks from a parking garage (flat $15 rate on weekends). So even though it is in a crowded Chinatown section, it is quite accessible. I can't wait to go back!
We went after seeing an IG video. I'm not sure what was on the crab noodles but it was tasteless and not crab! The rest of the food was fair, nothing spectacular. So many good Asian places in SF, try others!
REALLY enjoyed my experience at Fusion Dumpling.
The General Tso’s Chicken was so crispy & delicious. The Brussel Sprouts were crisp & charred with good seasoning. The cucumber salad was garlicky & fresh. The Cumin Lamb ribs. It was all so good, it’s been years since I’ve been excited about a restaurant experience. Really pleased & wish I was local,

Such an amazing experience, great food and a wonderful atmosphere. The wagyu was outstanding just like the spicy beef noodles, the spicy soup dumplings and the crispy chicken dumplings. The dessert was a nice end of our amazing night
Solid chinese food place after doing the SF marathon! I was so hungry so this was a perfect find.
Good:
- Everything came out in beautiful plating - the fried buns were super well plated
- The peking duck potstickers were so unique
- The XLB was really good too - huge portion sizes and very freshly made
- String beans were surprisingly good
- The soy milk was very sweet and refreshing
- The price for value was good here!
- The place felt very upscale, nice servers and good came out fast
Bad:
- Pretty dim inside and you have to flag down the waiters yourself
Overall would come again, the food was so pretty and the presentation was good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can't wait to come back! Atmosphere: Beautiful restaurant. Lovely decor, relaxing lighting, not too loud, not too quiet, comfortable seating, nice tables. Service: Exactly what I want in service. The servers don't bother you to order more or ask you lots of questions or make you feel like you need to leave while you're still eating. They let you enjoy your meal, but are always available without delay when you need them. Perfect service. Food: There is nothing bad on this menu. Not even anything that is just okay. Every dish is exquisite. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, great serving sizes. Dish after dish, our entire group of 12 was blown away and more than satisfied. Every person we brought said they'd be coming back again. Flavor balance on everything was amazing, the sauces, the spices, the mouth feel. Truly, we've never been happier in a restaurant. Honestly, I can't say enough about Fusion Dumpling, so you'll have to just try it yourself. Favorite Dishes: I can't remember their names on the menu but our favorites were the Szechuan numbing noodles and the fish filet and mustard green soup. The sauce clinged perfectly to the noodles, making every bite flavorful. They had the perfect spicy tingle without being overwhelming and covering the flavor. The bite of the noodles was absolutely perfect. The soup combines fish fillet, mustard green, enoki mushrooms, and chilies in a broth that is to die for. Notes of citrus and Szechuan in the savory light broth were amazing. If you like sweets, try the black sesame steamed bao and eat it while its piping hot. Yum!
Beautiful, freshly made dumplings and other kinds of food!
My family and I absolutely enjoyed our experience!
