Delicious Thai food. We were so pleased to find a Thai restaurant where sweet is not a prominent profile in their food. We loved the sour pork, the banana blossom and squid, the eggplant, and the beef jungle curry - they were delicious and had so many little creative touches. Rotating, seasonal menu.
The duck at Prik Hom is the best I ever had. Definitely better than any French restaurant in SF. The basil eggplant was really good and the smoked coconut ice cream will make you kneel down and say many, many prayers. It has lots of well balanced and unexpected flavors and textures.

Hits and big misses here. Apps were decent. Fermented pork/crispy rice being the star; mains were weird and not good in my opinion. The duck curry was way too sweet (with cherries and grapes??) the branzino tasted like something served at a monastery that was intent on not using any modern day seasonings or cooking methods.
