I picked up the Lean & Clean w/ Chicken from Proper Food - First St. through MealPal and wow, it was fresh and flavorful. The broccoli, chicken, and herb sauce made this meal both nutritious and satisfying. Definitely a delicious choice for lunch!

I was in the middle of ordering a turkey sausage when the guy taking my order suddenly bolted outside and started harassing a man with a camera, chanting, 'I got all day, bro.' This concerned me, and I left immediately after witnessing the incident. It was very unsettling behavior from the staff.

Proper Food is a great option when you don’t have a lot of time, but also don’t want to eat up a bunch of processed, sodium laden “food”. They have great wholesome options, although I do find some of the food to be a bit bland. The juices are really good. Service is always great; nice and friendly staff.

Exclusively visited this spot for breakfast during busy work mornings because they used to offer a GF breakfast sandwich. They phased that out in August 2024 and have not replaced with an equal gluten-free option so unfortunately I have not returned. Wish so badly they would stock a GF muffin - nowhere in the city seems to stock gluten-free foods let alone in the breakfast food category. :(
