I ordered catering from Proposition Chicken for a party and it was fantastic. There are people with celiac disease in our group so I appreciated the care taken to ensure the food was completely gluten free. The fried chicken had a great crust and even the meat eaters of the group enjoyed the crispy fried tofu.

Please have self-ordering kiosks like Super Duper, your staff is clearly overwhelmed and frequently doesn't see guests.

The food was absolutely delicious, but the service left a lot to be desired. We arrived 35 minutes before closing on 2/1 and were repeatedly reminded of the time by the cashier (a younger guy with a spiked nose ring). Throughout our meal, he made a point of slamming things around and giving us dirty looks as he passed by. We finished eating and cleaned up with five minutes to spare, so the hostility felt unnecessary. If you’re thinking of trying this place, I’d recommend getting your food to go—the flavors are worth it, but the attitude isn’t.

The fried chicken was amazing when I ate it for the first time, so I brought my friends for a second visit.
The second time it was very average and the quality was not very stable. The taste was very different from the first time to the second time (the second time I ate the meat was a bit fishy and not yet cooked and seasoned. The meat was not as good as last time and it was dry. The store was very good. They said they would help replace one and refund the money)
But the fried chicken sandwich is delicious! Maybe order the fried chicken sandwich next time instead

often visit this restaurant in my neighborhood, and the food is absolutely wonderful! The chicken is perfectly seasoned and cooked just right, not too greasy, which I really appreciate.

This is the third Prop Chicken location I’ve tried in the Bay Area. I ordered a flipped chicken salad and garlic thyme potato wedges for lunch. They were both great! The lettuce was nice and crunchy, and the chicken was well seasoned. The garlic thyme potato wedges arrived still warm and crispy. Definitely a good pairing overall and fantastic lunch or dinner option.

Can skip. Not a place that you have to go out of your way. Fried sandwich and wedges are both average. Slaw with chicken was good but nothing great as to make this a recommended place

I've been a regular customer here for a long time and recently noticed their portions of chicken have been considerably smaller in my salad. The food is always tasty, but personally I can't stand restaurants that quietly make their portions smaller. I won't be returning

Fast, well-done, and a clean establishment! What more could you want. :) Came here as a vegetarian with my friend from NYC who loves chicken - we both loved it. She said this was her favorite food spot in SF. Highly recommend this spot!

Decent side of Garlic Thyme Potato Wedges, savory spiced and crispy. Accompanying ranch dressing veers more on the yoghurt side, but likely healthier than the bottled kind.
