excellent foods and atmosphere. Nice place. Not crazy expensive (if it got more expensive, my rating will lower) . Relatively easy to park.

Found Prospect frustratingly inconsistent. The drinks were excellent. (I tried the hibiscus margarita and the lovely peachin’ to the choir.) The melon starter was good, but the burger took an unfathomable amount of time to arrive and was clearly overdone for a medium-rare order. (The fries were yummy.) Frustrating.

So glad we returned to Prospect. We had an amazing meal, especially the pork chop, charred broccoli with garlic, and French fries which were all amazing. Our server (Emma) was fabulous.
It was an amazing discovery for us in the city. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We will definitely find an opportunity to return. Would highly recommend.
I expected more from the food. Everything we had was good, not great. Tempura squash blossoms not crisp. Pea side was warm and overcooked. On the +side, they made a great martini.
Prospect has become our reliable local restaurant whenever we want great food, service and ambience. The Steak Frittes special on Fridays is wonderful! Thanks for another great dinner.
OMG--Prospect still SLAPS with the same DELICIOUS and AMAZING flavors as ever! I'm here for the popular Prospect burger and fries this time. Amazing! Service is top-notch and keeps getting better. If Jerry, your server, buckle up--you're in for a next-level dining experience!
Plates come out looking like works of art--bright, colorful, and full of love. And the taste? Even better than the presentation. Every bite is a wow-moment.
The wine list is selective, special, and impossible to mess up. Pick anything, and you'll be golden.
The vibe is romantic, classy, yet super fun--exactly the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger all night. I seriously LOVE everything about this place.
Parking, though... that's the only adventure. Between the rideshare chaos and tight spaces, finding a spot--especially with a big car--is tricky. Pro tip: get here early before dinner hours, and with some patience, you'll find one. And trust me--it's 100% worth it once you're inside.

Look it's always fantastic. I was sad the prospect GnT not on menu any more. But the mezcal cocktail was also good. The halibut crudite was out of this world. Strawberry and spice
It’s a nice place that seems to be trying to come across as sophisticated and innovative. However, some of their culinary choices didn’t quite work for me—for example, hazelnuts in a pork chop dish just felt a bit out of place. The tartare was pretty spicy, and the portion was very small, definitely not enough to share. I also wish they offered a kids’ menu, as that would make the restaurant more family-friendly.
The atmosphere itself is pleasant, and the presentation of the dishes is attractive, but overall the food didn’t fully live up to the expectations set by the concept. With a few adjustments, this place could be much more enjoyable.

We had one of the best dinners I've ever had at Prospect last night. Which is saying a lot. We started with the most amazing cocktail, the Reforma, that has changed my opinion about mescal cocktails forever. We shared a luscious melon appetizer with a lime cream. Then I had this fantastic little gem salad, with peaches, moon drop and witch finger grapes, with a wonderful house dressing. My entree was the famous Prospect pork chop. Absolutely incredible. It was on a bed of polenta and greens, figs, cherry balsamic, prosciutto, and this magic pork jus, drizzled over the top. Now I understand why friends of mine can never order any other entree there. The Executive Chef, Jonah Oakden, and his talented team is making sure every detail of the food shines. Our server, Garrett, was attentive and very knowledgeable about suggesting wine with dinner. We had a lovely Sebastian Christophe Chablis, that was everything you could hope for. Prospect is performing at the top of their game!
Prospect is always a restaurant of very high quality...Unique approach to food with one result..excellent...great cocktails...Great place for celebrating Birthdays or a casual dinner...a wonderful part of the food scene in San Francisco..
Wonderful food but even better service, especially with our Sommelier. Food was well presented and has great flavor. A beautiful dining experience.
