Low quality for the price. Was looking forward to going as was highlighted on Check Please. Unfortunately did not live up to the hype at all.
Friendly staff and owners. Food was great. Enjoyed the gumbo.

Stopped in here after our Alcatraz tour and WOW, their shrimp poboy was one of the best we've had (outside of New Orleans). Service was fast. Restaurant was open air and clean. Nice restroom also. Pleasant surprise!
Never ate here before. It is mostly all sea food. The fish & chips were good. You order and pay at the cash and they give you a stick with a # on it and bring the food to you. Service was very good. I don’t like when the POS system asks me to tip before I even have my food. This is very close to the Alcatraz Tour arrival/departure.
My husband and I came to San Francisco from North Dakota to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We bought a tour to Alcatraz and stopped in for lunch, the Cafe is located on Pier 33, right next to the Alcatraz dock. I had the fish and chips and bread bowl clam chowder. I definitely recommend this! We don’t have fish and chips like this in the north. If you’re from the Midwest, get the fish and chips here.
This was our first visit to Queen's and we enjoyed it. We shared a bowl of gumbo and a shrimp po boy. They were both very good. The gumbo was perfect for a rainy day by the bay. It had a rich flavor with lots of shrimp, chicken and sausage. There was also some crayfish in it. The po boy was also very good with a lot of battered shrimp. Service was great. The location is at Pier 33, next to the Alcatraz tours.
They were very busy and, perhaps, short staffed in the kitchen which was probably why it took longer than we felt it should for our order. Never the less our food was very good. My wife had the cajon fish tacos (3) and I had the shrimp po' boy with fries. Lunch was $29.
GREAT atmosphere & Great NOLA Soul Food
Before taking my tour on the In-Out Bus, I went for take out at Queen's Louisian Po-Boy Cafe. It has a nice bay front location. I had a blueberry scone. Service was OK.
overpriced and the service and food were both terrible! we ordered the shrimp po boy and the catfish po boy both came out with absolutely no Remoulade sauce! who makes a "authentic" po boy without Remoulade sauce! highly disappointed! definitely won't be back!

This food was alright but the attitude from the staff was bad. They had a disinterested attitude and a "I don't want to be here" face.
The service is worse. The bathroom is very dirty. The fish is greasy. The worse in the cafe in San Francisco
Nice place but too slow and too expensive for the quality and amount of the food ,keep walking and find another place .
Worst place I visited in San Francisco I hope they go out of business! My coffee was filled only half way. They say they have different coffees they don’t. Waited over 40 mins for food order when asked when it was coming out because we were catching a boat they said sorry you’ll have to get a refund it’s not going to be done. The place is dirty and the workers were not very pleasant.
We were tired of walking in the rain and stopped short of our destination when this restaurant happened upon us. We were pleasantly surprised that the food was very good. Very small place, but There were too available spaces, so we were happy. Good service. Moderate prices
