Great food, the gumbo and carryover are great. I did wish the roux from the gumbo was a bit thicker

I understand that inflation is hitting everyone but these fish tacos had the smallest amount of fish I have ever seen. So if you want $20 cabbage tacos, these are for you.

$5 water, no paper towels, no takeout bags

Waiting 35 minutes for cold food while the restaurant is empty is appalling. The prices for the amount of food are completely unjustified. Saying that the food had a lack of seasoning would be a compliment.

It was my mother-in-law's birthday and she wanted to take the ferry from Vallejo to San Francisco to eat soul food near the Embarcadero. The only place was Queens Louisiana Po-Boy Restaurant.
Our first time, food was delicious. The only negative was the gumbo. It did not have any Dungeness crab and not enough rice. Otherwise it was delicious.
But to top it off our server Bro. Ronnie was a beautiful, hardworking young man who really represented the restaurant by the way he honored, served the elders at the table. He is a blessing. Thank you again. We will return to this Black-owned and operated business. ❤️🖤💚

I thought the shrimp was great and I also like the ambience. The dinner is right at the harbor and if you come back from Alcatraz hungry you can fortify yourself here.
The chicken burger was also great.

Fish and chips were a little on the greasy side but the bignets were very good, and so was the oyster poor boys. The frozen cocktail machine was broken so we didn't get try their special drinks.

It was super expensive for what we got, ordered fish and chips and cali mare..3 pieces of fish that we're tiny, calimare looked and tasted frozen and reheated. We were served crumbs for $100,i figured food would be amazing and fresh, this close to the dam ocean. Service was horrible and rude.. I wasn't the only customer in that day, that was extremely disappointed..save yourself the trouble and eat elsewhere.

Hostess literally yelled “NEXT” when no one else was in line behind me. She seemed absolutely sick of this place and service. Maybe not have her be the face of the business??!!
