i got popcorn chicken bowl and the waffle fries and it was $15 in total. The rice was alright just bland (a lil better when yiu add your seasoning to it ) and the popcorn chicken was not that good , it was bland and it didn't look appetizing, i took a few few and i swear they looked grey like that one spongebob episode where the burgers are fake . The fries were good 7/10 and it was a huge bag for $5 not bad. Decent food for when you're starving tho

Located at the center of the SFSU campus, in the Cesar Chavez Student Center, Quickly is just next to the SFSU bookstore. I remember when this location first opened all those years back when I had been completing my undergrad, and was kind of exciting to have a boba spot on campus. Interestingly enough, this is probably one of the oldest spots that are still left here, as all the other places have either changed hands, or just straight up closed during the start of the pandemic. It's just a counter front, so no places to sit right in front, but it's across from the main food court area inside of the center, so you can just find seating in there anyways. There's nothing spectacular about the place, as it's a Quickly, so expecting too much is setting yourself up for disappointment. It's a Quickly, treat it as just your basic run of the mill boba place. The staffing here will always be hit or miss, and this has been true throughout the years here. Usually staff is going to be students, so they kind of have a rotating service quality over time. Some are better than others, and the sliding scale of the service provided can be from good enough to downright terrible. Pricing here is not great once you start adding things up, such as the drink size and toppings. The cost to upgrade the drink size, and the toppings are a bit higher than the other locations, but it's a franchise so each location will decide how they approach it differently, and this one chooses to be a bit pricier with these small upgrades here and there. It's not terribly expensive, but once you add all these things up it's basically as expensive as the more upscale or better chain brand spots. You can definitely find cheaper options down at Stonestown, but that's not as convenient as if you're on campus here for students. Keeping in mind the discussion about the rotating staff here, this will also impact the quality of the drinks. At times, the drinks are actually pretty good, and the boba quality is quite QQ enough to make it comparable to other boba spots around. Other times, the milk tea will taste incredibly stale (and this is during peak lunch hours), and the boba will be very broken up and barely even chewable before it just scatters in your first bite. They have inconsistency with how much boba you get each time, while sometimes I get a fair amount, and other times I get maybe half a scoop of it. It's just wildly inconsistent. Quickly at SF State is, okay. I can't really say you get what you paid for, because it's really not that cheap anymore like it used to be, and this is taking into account how expensive things are now comparatively. The staff here is hit or miss. The current staff from this semester seems okay. The staff from the previous semester was awful. Who knows, we'll see how it goes this semester. The boba so far is okay too. The boba was actually made well, and it was QQ aplenty. I will be back for sure since I'm always on campus anyways, and have office hours, but it's not necessarily my first option. If I really have no better options, then yes, but rather go down to Stonestown and get better boba options there if I have time to spare. Not terrible, not great, just neutral.

Perfect, good food

This is one of the more affordable options for food in the Cesar Chaves Center at SF State. The bobas teas taste great. Highly recommend their Popcorn Chicken and add chili powder and sweet and spicy sauce.

There's a reason why I haven't had quickly since high school. Their drinks taste like day old milk tea and boba. The boba was hard like it was left in a fridge overnight. Regular was $4.31 plus a 29 cents card fee. Not worth. Rather make it at home for cheaper. 1 teaspoon matcha powder (12 oz at Costco for $20), 2 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, and 1 cup of milk.

The cashier has the worst customer service and attitude

There could have been a better eating place but this is one of the only limited options in SFSU for Asian food.

This afternoon I went to Quickly for the first time. To my surprise the customer service was horrible. The cashier was talking to her friends while we all waited in a long line. The employees had attitudes. They also gave me cold popcorn chicken. I strongly hate it when people who work in hospitality have rude customer service and attitudes. I'm going to report them to the school and let the school know that this Quickly doesn't seem to Value their customers and suggests they get a different Quickly restaurant to take their place.
