It was late night order and I’ve never had a burger dog before but wanted to try since frisco fried out them on the scene back in the day. Ordered my door dash and couldn’t wait. As soon as they arrive I could smell the goodness so I take my pics and dive in.Burger Dog: Hefty on the meat, felt like it was more beef than an actual burger and I wanna say easier to eat. Only change I would add bacon and that’s my bad. Very good burger dog!Bacon Hot Dog: Butterflied Beef Dog with crispy bacon! Another hit.Very simple menu options but they hit it out the park. Would definitely double back to this spot to try them fresh.Parking: It’s on 20th street so not impossible but keep your eyes open spots get taken fastKid-friendliness: Burgers, Hot Dogs, Fries I think so….Wheelchair accessibility: It’s in San Francisco it has to be accessible

Fries are great, burger is inconsistent: sometimes the bun is too toasted

Hot dogs and hamburgers on a hot dog bun are out of this world. Kale salad is always good and the people who work here are the best.

Love this place! The trick dog burger was tasty and the kale salad! Warning- it is very huge and dense. It tasted tasty the next day with extra drizzle of olive oil.

The bar downstairs and out on their front patio is always really popular but this review is for their food which you can join in a much quieter and intimate setting upstairs. The menu may sound like pub bar bites but it’s an elevated version for sure. The chicken nuggets were so delicious and the star of the show but you absolutely must order the kale salad too! Even people who are not into kale or salads enjoyed it and it’s HUGE! Such a neighborhood gem!

I've only ever visited Trick Dog for drinks, but my first dining experience here did not disappoint! We started with a kale salad, which was not only delicious, but also very generously sized (we got a box for leftovers). The highlight of the meal was the Mission Dog! Juicy, perfectly toasted buns, and the perfect blend of mustard and jalapeño sauces. The warm weather enabled us to sit in the parklet outside, and the service was super quick (our food came out within 10 minutes). A must visit for great cocktails and hot dogs!

Trick Dog came highly recommended from one of my friends and boy was he right. Trick Dog offered some of the best cocktails and bar food that I have had in the Bay Area so far. The bartenders are also fantastic and provided excellent service along with great recommendations. What really impressed me was the food here. The fries were by far some of the best fries I have ever had as they had a perfect crisp and flavor. I completely understand why this spot was rated as one of the best bars in the world in the past. Next time I'm in the Bay Area, I know where I'll be stopping for dinner and drinks.

Cute and cool bar Super fun drink menu Friendly and quick bartender services. Few bar stool seatings. There is a few outdoor parklets. Parklets closed at 10pm due to noise ordinance per staff. Plenty street parkings.

This review is only for the bar section. What a unique experience! The menu can be confusing since it's themed after an art gallery, but every drink in the pamphlet section is what's currently in rotation. The map shows off the art pieces that inspire each drink, and list all the past inspired drinks. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive. The drink I got was quite delicious and unique! It was the zodiac drink with gin, black sesame, pineapple, and palo Santo. Do note that if you come at night on a weekend you're looking at an hour wait to get in, then an extremely packed bar. We came before dinner around 4-5 PM on a Saturday and it was already filling up, so I recommend going before dinner on weekends or on a weekday!

Good date spot with a super uniquely styled cocktail menu and delicious fries! I went on a Friday around dinner and was able to snag a spot upstairs, which was slightly crowded but still had enough room that I could have a private conversation. It was candlelit with mood lighting, so I couldn't appreciate the very artistic menu as much as I wanted to. I got the Trick Airways Dog cocktail, which was sweet and had some pineapple and biscotti in it - definitely a good option for those who want a sweet but unique cocktail in a fun cup. I also had the fries which were SO good - they were very thick, perfectly crispy on the outside, perfectly chewy on the inside, and paired with ketchup and another good sauce. Service was great too! I'm definitely coming back to try their menu items for dinner and some of their other drinks!

Have been meaning to try this spot but was always deterred by how crowded it gets on weekends. Came on a Monday evening and it was still packed! The bar area is small, so this is not a great place for big groups. There is an upstairs area as well if you're ordering food. There's also outdoor seating (relic of pandemic days), but for pricey drinks, not the best ambience out there. The cocktails are $16 each. I would recommend the Zodiac (gin/floral/fresh) and the Whole Dog (guava/creamy/sweet). Would not get Broadsides or Trick Dog Airways again. Service was great--the bartender was super attentive and on top of greeting new guests and checking in on ppl sitting at the bar.

This place has been on my list of bars to visit for a while. Upon entering it can be confusing as to what is happening if you do not have a reservation. The menu is very unique in that it serves as a gallery map of exhibits/memorabilia around the bar dedicated to a drink on the menu. (I ordered the zodiac cocktail which corresponds to an astrology wheel on the wall.) The drink was very good and was full of flavors. The other drinks on the menu look and sound like good options as well. The bar staff is also friendly and the lively environment certainly adds to the art gallery vibe. I will definitely be back to try their other drinks and check out some of their events.

I finally got to check out this spot after bookmarking it for months. Indeed, they had great cocktails and also specialty mocktails which I thought was very nice. I got one called the joy of cocktails and the tattoo but depending on when you go, they prob won't have those options available. I also had a sip of another one but totally forgot the name of it. We met up with an old friend on a Monday night and it was definitely more crowded than I expected! The second floor was booked for a private event which was unfortunate.Cool concept, loved the museum theme for this month and will definitely be back!

Visited Trick dog on NYE around 6:30pm. Walked in as a group of 3 and grabbed a seat at the bar. There were tables and seats upstairs as well outside in the parklet we just prefered the bar. Food: Quik Nuggets - a hefty portion of battered and fried boneless chicken breast and thigh piece, served with ketchup and aioli, batter was crisp, not greasy and seasoned wellQD fries - these were thick cut fries, on the crispier side, also served with ketchup and aioli, good but personally prefer thinner friesQuik Burger - delicious, a hot dog shaped burger was a fun twist, beef was well seasoned, cooked medium, bun was toasted and the lettuce and pickles, added freshness, sauce was great as wellOverall service was attentive and quick, food was really good. So glad Trick Dog is still serving up the Quik Dog menu, would come back for the burger or perhaps to try a hot dog.
