I finally tried this place out after some years. I’ve wanted to for some time but they close early at 5:30. I usually eat ramen at night, too bad they don’t stay open for dinner.
I was pleasantly surprised that the Karamiso Ramen was tasty and satisfying. I’ll definitely go back again.
Nice clean and modern restaurant. Staff seem a bit busy hanging out with their friends at the restaurant. We ordered the Okonomiyaki both the beef and the veggie and they were both excellent and tasted very similar to the ones we ordered in Japan. Of course our preference is the Hiroshima style which has the noodles which Ramen House does not carry. We also ordered the popcorn chicken which is supposedly excellent but we thought it was ok and not as crunchy as we’d like. Service...
I ordered the Beef Okonomiyaki, some people call it Japanese Pizza, a delicious pancake made with a special batter with tempura flakes, small pieces of sliced beef, leeks and cabbage mixed and topped with very thin dry sliced beef, Japanese mayonnaise and a sweet umami sauce similar to Tonkatsu sauce. This restaurant opens early and serves American breakfast among other things.
