We shared dinner here with my kids, and we all really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. For a chilly day, it was great to get warmed by ramen. We also enjoyed the edamame too.Parking: Not close to any parking, but there are parking garages nearby or if you're lucky and want to walk, there can be street parking not so nearby.

Unpretentious food that is a contradiction between classic and modern flavors. The food is simple but the flavor is anything but. Come hungry and with high expectations. You won’t be disappointed.

Here on the day of the cheery blossom festival so I thought they would try to make my food taste good. But I was utterly disappointed. Order the Yamada ramen, galbi jjim ramen, and karage bento. All of it was horrible. No flavor, cold, little portions. The meat in the ramens tasted a little rotten. The sides for the bento were all prepackaged and not fresh. Not going here again. Horrible.

When we arrived we were told to sign up on the waitlist… there was no one on it so we should’ve just gotten seated quickly.. When we sat down, we had to wait a while for someone to take our order. It was pretty busy so I understand that it would take some time. The customer service was ok, nothing special. They should prioritize customer service bc it wasn’t the best. The food arrived in a timely manner and the ramen was pretty good but I wish there was more noodles in it, it was less than other ramen places..

Central location in Japan town with such a promising menu! Tanuki, galbi jim ramen all sound so good, but it isn’t quite there with execution. The soft boiled eggs were cold and had egg shell fragments, the rib meat was also cooked and chewy, the fat hadn’t been rendered out yet. Such a friendly and energetic team, great music and chill decour, hoping to stop by next time and the team is a bit more ready to execute.

Our dining experience was underwhelming. We ordered three servings of ramen, and all came with cold eggs that had a distinct chemical taste, particularly the yolks. The pork in the ramen was overly salty and seemed less than fresh, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, the service was average at best, but what made us uncomfortable was the almost enforced tipping policy. The server presented the POS machine with a minimum tip option of 20%, which felt quite pushy and inappropriate given the overall experience.

Don't know what happened after pandemic but I remember there was always a 1 hour wait line. It was Friday night and the restaurant was practically empty. We ordered today fried chicken (Osaka style) that was ok, and a Spicy ramen (the spice aside so we could add as much as we like). They served the wrong ramen (we notice after we finished) and the broth was very spicy (I asked the waitress and she said it wasn't spicy), chashu was not good. Totally ruined the experience, it's a shame. We loved this place.
I ordered ramen with beef rib, noodle was one of those factory made disgusting noodle, beef rib was from the refrigerator, cold…how could they charge $23 for that bowl of soup with little to eat?Not recommended at all.

I just love this place. I always get the Wantan ramen. The chicken must be slow roasted or something because it is just falling apart. So delicious. Best broth I’ve had.

Vegan ramen was a total disappointment. Had no tofu or protein at all and when I asked, they brought me a 2x2 flat piece of tofu skin. This is not a meal. The edamame garlic sauce was also just pure sugar.

I had vegan ramen, it had french fries and canned corn in it. I couldn’t even eat half of it. Can’t comment on other food but vegan ramen is horrible. It costs $18 as of february 2024. Won’t be coming back.
