there was a TICKET to get to the dance floor on the 2nd floor??? we had to pay a $20 entrance fee, line up outside and still had to wait AN HOUR INSIDE the club just to get to the second floor to meet our friends. rude ass bouncers, 2 unisex bathroom per floor with 100+ people. yeah save ur time and money, worst club in sf by far.

I thought I was the only one who had a problem with the bouncers until the I read the reviews. They apparently have power trips and enjoy “throwing people out” and being disrespectful to their clientele
Excellent throwback hip hop club with reasonable prices and best of all, Raven Bar does business in good faith!! We got a table for a joint birthday gathering and had a great experience from start to finish. There was prompt communication with the team which addressed all our questions and requests. After having a grand ol time celebrating, we realized we didn’t utilize a part of our prepaid service the morning after, and the Raven team worked with us to come to a positive resolution. The business is definitely doing things right when the level of customer service is this high.

Kayy was a phenomenal and made our night! She made the ambience hyphy, which didn’t disappoint coming from Idaho! She is amazing and enhanced our SF experience!! This bar is a vibe!

Me and my group is friends were dancing and the security lady claimed that one of my friends was vaping. We told her we’re not vaping she asked us to look for the vape among others and started dragging him out. We told her that we’ll come out and if she doesn’t find the vape on us she got to leave us alone. She still aggressively started pushing him outside. This is when I started recording her to prove that she was at fault to accuse us and hold her accountable to her actions. At this moment she had the audacity to snatch away my phone and when I grabbed it back she started pushing me out too when I was walking out by myself. She repeatedly started shoving me even when I was fed up and leaving. My friend recorded this and she snatched away the phone and pushed her down the stairs where she broke her heel.
I see that the owner had replied to other reviews. It’s easy to dismiss negative reviews assuming your security is always right. But here is proof of the incident. No one, not even the cops have the liberty to snatch away your phones when we’re trying to protect ourselves. Now that you have proof of the incident, prove that you really care about your bar and the people that come there! Feel free to reach out for more videos from my friends.

If you want to have a good clubbing experience, don't go to Raven! You will not believe, I was helping a girl in the bathroom who was clearly not doing well. I brought her water and everything and she handed me a drink that she wanted to me to toss. As I was about to toss it, two bouncers rudely kicked me out. One of them named Anthony showed absolutely no remorse when I explained the situation. Anyway, I'm done with this club and their self-righteous bouncers Can't believe we have given this club tons of money booking tables multiple times and all- really disappointed generally about the bouncers. This is not to mention that on a separate occasion, one of the bouncers fully pushed my friend to the floor when he was just trying to show his ID, the bouncers with no remorse whatsoever! The bouncers are aggressive and it's not worth going here if you want to have a good time. Raven- get better bouncers! All of them are rude and show zero compassion. Ambiance is terrible and I am going to continue spreading the word to avoid this club!
