The barista completely ignored my order. He made at least six orders that came after mine. When I went up to him and said I thought he was skipping my coffee, he just asked for my name, checked the computer, made my drink, and handed it to me with an attitude — no apology for the delay or for skipping my order while making six others right in front of me. Very unprofessional.

visited Red Bay Coffee at 220 Montgomery St, San Francisco on Friday, October 17. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. I waited more than 10 minutes for my coffee and was never served. Many other people arrived after me and were served quickly, but I was ignored the whole time. I felt disrespected and possibly discriminated against because I am Latino. The staff was not friendly or helpful. I do not recommend this place.

Great place to hang out and work with wifi and bathroom. Creative drinks and food too. No extra charge for alternative milk.

Poor service and bad coffee. The barista spilled my drink, gave me the wrong size (12oz instead of 16oz), and then fixed it by just pouring it into a bigger cup with no apology. The coffee itself tasted awful. Would not recommend. Just go to Starbucks and Blue Bottle near this one

Checked out Red Bay Coffee in SF and had a great experience. The cappuccino was smooth, with a nice balance of espresso and foam — not overly strong, just really well made. I also tried the mushroom tart, which was flaky, savory, and paired perfectly with the coffee. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient, and the space has a cool, relaxed vibe, making it a solid spot for both good coffee and a bite.

The service is very bad. Since I work across I keep giving it a try. Some time the coffee is lukewarm. Another time I went there the expresso machine wasn’t working, another time they didn’t have barista to make the coffee. Another time early morning around 7:20 they wouldn’t open the doors. I have given this place so many chances. They do have a lovely place.

This spot has the best charcoal coffee in town. They also offer a fantastic selection of delicious teas and coffees, all expertly made. It's my go-to morning stop, and it's much better than the big-name coffee chain. Delicious 😋

Nothing more fun than waiting in line for 15 minute for them to be out of things you want

They know how to make a breve latte - best one I had while in SF! They actually used all half and half and the coffee is not as bitter as the other places I tried. If you're a straight breve latte afficianado go here.
