Great place to hang out and work with wifi and bathroom. Creative drinks and food too. No extra charge for alternative milk.

Loved the iced vanilla latte in oat! Atmosphere is good to sit and work in, and the staff is really welcoming!

Poor service and bad coffee. The barista spilled my drink, gave me the wrong size (12oz instead of 16oz), and then fixed it by just pouring it into a bigger cup with no apology. The coffee itself tasted awful. Would not recommend. Just go to Starbucks and Blue Bottle near this one

Checked out Red Bay Coffee in SF and had a great experience. The cappuccino was smooth, with a nice balance of espresso and foam — not overly strong, just really well made. I also tried the mushroom tart, which was flaky, savory, and paired perfectly with the coffee. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient, and the space has a cool, relaxed vibe, making it a solid spot for both good coffee and a bite.

The service is very bad. Since I work across I keep giving it a try. Some time the coffee is lukewarm. Another time I went there the expresso machine wasn’t working, another time they didn’t have barista to make the coffee. Another time early morning around 7:20 they wouldn’t open the doors. I have given this place so many chances. They do have a lovely place.

This spot has the best charcoal coffee in town. They also offer a fantastic selection of delicious teas and coffees, all expertly made. It's my go-to morning stop, and it's much better than the big-name coffee chain. Delicious 😋

Nothing more fun than waiting in line for 15 minute for them to be out of things you want

They know how to make a breve latte - best one I had while in SF! They actually used all half and half and the coffee is not as bitter as the other places I tried. If you're a straight breve latte afficianado go here.

Place was pretty awesome. The cappuccino was delicious and not horribly priced (for SF). The service was good 2 out of 3 days but the coffee and baked goods were on point. Definitely recommend.

Red Bay Coffee is one of those rare spots that instantly makes you feel at ease. Nestled in a cozy corner of the city, it boasts a unique setup that blends modern minimalism with warm, inviting design. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by clean aesthetics, natural light, and a sense of calm that makes it a perfect environment for both work and relaxation.

The coffee here lives up to the slogan “Beautiful Coffee to the People.” Every cup feels thoughtfully brewed, with smooth, rich flavors that cater to both casual coffee drinkers and true enthusiasts. Whether you’re ordering a classic espresso or something a little more adventurous, the quality is consistent and excellent.

Seating is well-arranged to accommodate solo workers, casual meetups, or quiet reading time. It’s a cozy spot, but not cramped and that makes it ideal for working remotely or catching up on a few emails with a warm cup in hand. The Wi-Fi is reliable, and the staff is friendly and low-key, letting you settle into your flow without interruption.

There’s something special about the vibe here it’s not just a coffee shop; it’s a space that feels curated for community and creativity. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick caffeine fix or planning to stay a while, Red Bay Coffee delivers comfort, style, and excellent coffee.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area and looking for a chill, high-quality cafĂ© to relax or work from.

The coffee is definitely up to par, the location of it is nice. The bakery unfortunately had loads of gnats and flies in it and they deliberately tried to deny it. But I'll settle for this coffee in a rush. One employee here is unfortunately very rude and hard to deal with but be that their business and hopefully phases out of the work-in-progress phase. Their charcoal latte is amazing too. Try it if you haven't had charcoal coffee.
