Poor service and bad coffee. The barista spilled my drink, gave me the wrong size (12oz instead of 16oz), and then fixed it by just pouring it into a bigger cup with no apology. The coffee itself tasted awful. Would not recommend. Just go to Starbucks and Blue Bottle near this one

Checked out Red Bay Coffee in SF and had a great experience. The cappuccino was smooth, with a nice balance of espresso and foam â not overly strong, just really well made. I also tried the mushroom tart, which was flaky, savory, and paired perfectly with the coffee. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient, and the space has a cool, relaxed vibe, making it a solid spot for both good coffee and a bite.

The service is very bad. Since I work across I keep giving it a try. Some time the coffee is lukewarm. Another time I went there the expresso machine wasnât working, another time they didnât have barista to make the coffee. Another time early morning around 7:20 they wouldnât open the doors. I have given this place so many chances. They do have a lovely place.

They know how to make a breve latte - best one I had while in SF! They actually used all half and half and the coffee is not as bitter as the other places I tried. If you're a straight breve latte afficianado go here.

The coffee is definitely up to par, the location of it is nice. The bakery unfortunately had loads of gnats and flies in it and they deliberately tried to deny it. But I'll settle for this coffee in a rush. One employee here is unfortunately very rude and hard to deal with but be that their business and hopefully phases out of the work-in-progress phase. Their charcoal latte is amazing too. Try it if you haven't had charcoal coffee.
