… Drew is coolYour friends from the east coast.Amazing bar, great atmosphere, friendly patrons. The bartender was great, and very attentive. We were visiting for the weekend with friends and he gave great recommendations for a few other spots closer to our hotel. I Will definitely make it back and recommend anyone looking for a great bar to visit this spot .

Felt like a nice welcoming place to enjoy a few beers away from fisherman’s wharf. By no stretch were we the only tourists there, but generally tourists were in the minority. But and this is a big but, all seemly were made to feel welcome. Barmaid was friendly, chatty and attentive.Always nice to find somewhere like this away from the hotel and main tourist hotspots. Oh and they had sport on the tele which was nice, but it wasn’t dominating..

We got in town early and stopped by because of the reviews...timing will be key...when we visited only 4 of us were in there but we plan to go bk later. They have a large selection (no flavored whiskeys which are my favorite)... Drew was cool!

I join all visitors, great bar, how the German tourist imagines an American bar. Nice host on February 6th in the afternoon, correct prices and a great wheat beer from the area, fine taste, I would also like to drink it in Germany. Nice bar to recharge your batteries for running!!

It was kinda weird but there aren't a lot of options for just a drink in the Fisherman's Wharf area. But honestly it didn't really matter as for us, this was the best spot even if there were 20 other options. It is a local spot so if that scares you away, then that's on you. We loved that about the place and met some really great people!The owner (I feel dumb for not remembering her name) took great care of of us at the bar and we had an awesome night. We had walked all around San Francisco all day and really needed to chill out, take a break and unwind from the day. It worked.The owners are a couple from New England, if that scares you away, that's on you also! But to quote another bar from Boston, I can guarantee that "everyone knew our name" by the time we left. Even if we weren't in any state to remember theirs!
