The owners Oceanic Properties, reported to SFGate that they have permanently closed Jeanne D'Arc restaurant.
My waiter was rude, The manager Manny was cold, crude, and quick to rush us out. We spent 300 dollars for moldy bread service, puss poor wine, and a clearly unhappy staff.
The company is known for stealing from its employees.
Avoid like the plague you would catch from the rats lurking in their outdoors outside the dining room.
We saw two lurking near another table while eating.
The manager cussed us out for bringing it up.
We took pictures and sent it to the DPH

A gem. A bargain. A treat.
Looking for a short trip to France?
Descend the stairs or take the old Parisian hotel style elevator down to the grotto, w/ banquettes and skylights and vaulted ceiling ... classic French fare ... a wonderful, warm atmosphere in the company of Joan of Arc. A respite of a restaurant with affordable, elegant meals and fun staff.

An absolutely wonderful restaurant in a unique setting. We’ve come here for several years and were relieved when they reopened post-pandemic. The food is always delicious and perfectly cooked, even after visiting Paris, we liked the food here better! We can’t wait to come back next time! Also, you should always order the soufflé for dessert.

Our server, Hakeem, and hostess, Chloe, were fabulous. The price fixe was reasonably priced with wonderful four course offerings.
Were going to dine there next time we’re in San

We were fans of this restaurant for many years. we brought friends knowing we would have great service and a great meal, Shortly after the reopening we brought friends for a birthday celebration. 3 of us ordered the Coquille st Jaques and it was awful, the Coq au vin was overcooked and flavorless. Lamb was ordered med. rare and was tough and well done, Even the Grand Marnier soufles were undercooked. What a shame for a once lovely restaurant. $987.00 and it is an embarassment to the former owners.

Jeanne D'Arc is a special occasion restaurant for us and we always enjoy ourselves. The food is delicious and the service gracious and fun. Most times we opt to stay overnight at the Cornell Hotel De France so that when we have finished dinner we can step into the elevator and zip to our charming room. It's a great way to get away without leaving the City.

This was our first time here and was NOT disappointed! Our server Houari was very sweet and provided excellent service. He did not disappoint with the recommendations. We settled on the Maget De Canard Au Poivre Vert, Lapin Chasseur, and the Petit Assiette de Fromages. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

A recent visit was appalling. Horrid server.
As we ordered our meal our wine was bad as in turned. She was so bogged down she never gets back to get us another glass.
Our bread arrives, but she bumps it off our table. We pick it up, notice it is caked in food, this round chrome basket has dried gravy, and meat fibers.
That was that we canceled dinner.
The server told us that the dishwasher refuses to wash bread baskets.
We canceled dinner on the spot. A manager with a moustache insisted we pay for undrinkable wine.
No apologies, no humble desire to right these two wrongs. Just a threat to bill us the whole reservation. He suggested we leave a nice tip. One cent was too much. We left angry at what was once a truly magical place.
Make sure to check your breads if you dare eat at such an unsanitary place.
A napkin covers up the unwashed, filthy baskets.
Whoever runs this place is failing badly.
