Stunning meal! I decided to treat myself to the tasting menu on a solo night out in my new city. From the moment I sat at the bar I knew I was in for a treat. The Shiso Popular cocktail was an awesome opening to what might just be the best meal I have ever had in SF. While literally every bite of tasting menu was beyond delicious and unique (and I could sing praise about each offering), the smoky truffle egg, the crispy sardine chip, the beautifully presented and tender beef, and the super umami and rich tonnarelli sea urchin pasta were true stand-outs. This was followed by a really, and I mean REALLY delicious, crunchy little honey bomb dessert. Outstanding service, great wine, and incredible menu. I can't wait to return!

We especially enjoyed the sardine chips, bluefin toro, and ribeye steak, but the trout was also delicious as was the cheese corn quiche. Cocktails (both regular and non-alcoholic) were creative and yummy. Only negative was “hidden” pork and shellfish not mentioned in descriptions of beef dishes, but luckily we learned of them before actually placing our orders - so be sure to ask about ingredients if you have any issues rather than rely on the menu descriptions.

Always an amazing dining experience and was a lovely way to spend an evening celebrating. The staff made us feel so incredibly welcome and were incredibly kind and accommodating to some dietary restrictions we had. The food was delicious and it's always fun to come back and see the new seasonal dishes. Rich Table has always been a special place to stop by and each time they continue to further cement that in my heart, mind, and stomach.

Lovely dinner at the bar booked last minute, helpful and kind team at all stages. Perfect ambiance and while fully booked not too loud. Kitchen team / chefs were impressive to watch with it being busy. Some larger dishes definitely make more sense & would be better enjoyed and balanced if shared vs ordered on your own (one vegan vs one none vegan means not usually sharing!) all delicious still - & unique ideas.

I've been to Rich Table several times, and I had a reservation yesterday and sat at the bar. I brought a friend who was visiting from out of town, and we were really looking forward to the experience, as Rich Table has always been one of my favorite places in San Francisco. The bartender who served us seemed friendly and pleasant at first, but she told us that she wouldn't send any orders to the kitchen until we had decided on everything and then walked away. We were hoping to enjoy our drinks and order food gradually at a relaxed pace, so it was disappointing to be told we had to place the entire order upfront. Some of the items we had already mentioned were apparently held back, and no food came out for quite a while until another server eventually stepped in to help. It ended up taking a long time for anything to arrive. It was truly disappointing to feel that the staff prioritized the kitchen's efficiency over the guests' dining experience — especially when we were hungry and looking forward to a nice evening.
