Everybody knows about delicious food at Rich Table - yes, it is amazing. The tasting menu structured in such a way that you get to taste almost everything on the menu, and i can't find enough superlatives to describe the creativity and mix of unexpected flavors in addition to beautiful presentation.
But what made our dinner truly special is the hospitality, the true caring about the guests.
Our waiter Mike overheard our issue with the tasting menu and magically replaced steak with delicious and gorgeous fish. When we mentioned that we are not great fans of ice cream dessert, he added panna cotta. We felt very special and pampered - sign of true hospitality.
Thank you Mike and the wonderful chefs and staff!

Phenomenal experience, likely in my top 10 dinners of this year.
Slight negative: possible foodborne illness soon after with fever, chills, among other private symptoms.
We thought the Cornish hen looked undercooked, and also had the tataki. The chef/waiter insisted the chicken was cooked, which I'm not too sure.
It's also entirely possible that it was not our experience with Rich Table.
Either way, a very memorable meal and fantastic service.

Addictive Burmese flavors that keep us coming back! The famous tea leaf salad is a must—fermented tea leaves, nuts, tomatoes, and that crunchy texture explosion. Rainbow salad and samusa soup were fresh and vibrant, with the chili chicken packing serious heat. Always a long wait (no reservations), but the chaotic energy and bold spices make it fun. Great for groups sharing dishes—SF's go-to for something different and delicious.

Zuni Café never disappoints—it's a true SF institution! The iconic roast chicken with bread salad was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and that currant-studded salad is addictive. Started with a dozen fresh oysters that tasted like the ocean. The bustling atmosphere feels timeless, with great people-watching from the window seats. Service was attentive without being stuffy. Worth every penny for a classic San Francisco experience.

Fabulous food and incredible service. So appreciate their attention to detail and innovative food. I am so impressed by the staff. I loved the flavors -- very creative in SF known for our creativity! I hadn't been in a few years and loved it more than I remembered!

reservation for 2 at the bar. on-point service, intimate setting, portions are appropriate - you will feel satisfied with a spectacular flavor experience. The desserts were our favorites - we normally get one to share but each had our own and crushed them. The food presentation and flavors were delicious - on the upper end even in SF.

The food was excellent! Definitely a special occasion type place given price point but everything we had was delicious. We ordered the sardine chips, savory donuts, the shells, pear dish, and the ribeye.

Had an amazing chef tasting dinner at Rich Table with a few friends who had not been before. We all agreed every single dish served was incredible, service great and the atmosphere is very chill for a restaurant of this caliber. If you can get a res, go!!
this was my fourth visit. Every time I'm dying here and every dish I've had has always been great. The customer service is also exceptional.
We had a wonderful meal! Everything was outstanding! Our favorites were the curry squash, and the pork chop. We definitely will be back.l
Amazing food! Every texture and flavor in the burrata was pure perfection. The trout was phenomenal. I'll be craving it for a long time. I sat at the bar by the kitchen and it was fun to watch the chefs work their magic.
Such a great experience. The uniqueness of the ingredient combinations and the elegance with which things are prepared is quite remarkable. I started with the sardine chip which is brilliant. The sardine is so intense in its fresh, fishy flavor and combined with the whipped horseradish it's such a great foil for the intense flavors. I also had the beef dumpling which I was disappointed with. It lacked seasoning and even though there's a lot of chilies they had no heat. The chicken liver was surprising and delightful. It's quite sweet with the quince and almond and candied pecans and seems to compensate for the sweetness with an excess of flake salt. However, it does work and I would have it again. The uni pasta was just a delight, ao creamy. The shape of the pasta does enhance the experience. Thea amuse bouche was also delightful. And I had the mocktail milk washed cocktail. It had a clean yet. Creamy mouth feel with subtle notes of pickling which perfectly paired with dinner. Really delicious.
