Great views and a nice outdoor experience. Some of the tables and chairs are very low to the ground. The service was very slow even though it didn't seem particularly busy on a Saturday evening. The drinks and Halibut fish and chips were good.
It was great ambiance. Food was great! The area around the restaurant is not that great but once you get to the restaurant, it's a complete different environment.
We just got drinks for the view and vibe. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Rather an expensive affair, I should not begrudge the payment of a princely sum, were the fare fashioned with any semblance of art or affection. Alas, this establishment is not of that noble breed. It demands the purse of a duke, yet serves the supper of a weary innkeeper’s apprentice.
The sausage, in particular, seemed to have been fashioned from some beast long past its prime. As for the coffee, it was as flat as a love sonnet written by an accountant, possessing neither depth nor the faintest hint of passion.
The rooftop offered a fine view and a gentle breeze, which did much to soothe my wounded palate. I daresay the view was what I truly paid for; the meal itself, a tragic afterthought in this comedy of dining errors.

Had us sitting over 30 minutes before someone took our order. They served a table who was seated after us and were very curt when they finally took our order. Food is over priced for what it is. Mel’s drive in is a 7 minute walk and much better vibes with great food!

This is the main restaurant at the Timbri hotel - which is why this is my 3rd review. Today's breakfast provided tasty eggs and excellent service.
I booked for a birthday dinner, to which they proceeded to put us at a small table outside where we only had a heater, my husband came in and asked for the change, they put us inside where it smelled terribly of fish! The dinner menu is extremely small and with very few options, we ordered two appetizers, two crab croquettes for almost $40! Extremely small. We got the burgers first (which took 30 minutes) and then the appetizers arrived; we ordered one of the burgers without pickles and just to remove the same ones, they took 10 more minutes with that hamburger. The truth is that the attention was not bad but literally we were without water for about 15 minutes and they charged us %20 of gratuity. I won't come back.
Attentive staff, great view of the city, and the Tuk Tuk Julius is a winner

Ainsley is the reason I’m giving 5 stars for service. The other staff is nice but not as attentive. The food is great. The atmosphere is fantastic! The Timbi is a gem in the Tendetloin!

I don’t care how good this place actually is or isn’t since I didn’t visit it. Getting there is like going through a war zone. If you’re with anyone you care about, don’t go to this neighborhood! I can’t imagine you would enjoy the view of this neighborhood.
