The menu was limited but in a good way. Always better to offer fewer great dishes rather than too many mediocre ones. The food was outstanding. The service was attentive and prompt. The vibe/decor is really nice on the outdoor terrace, which is what this place is really about. Very nice rooftop. The smaller indoor area could be upgraded with softer/warmer furniture but it was still fairly comfortable. Prices are a bit high but just about in line with the San Francisco average....
Assigned server neglected to take our order for thirty minutes. This was after I asked another server 15 minutes after being seated if he can take our order. He said “no, your server will.” Okay, fine I'll wait. Another 15 minutes had gone by until I had to leave my table to ask when my server was going to take my order. Finally was able to order after 30 minutes and the restaurant was less than at capacity. Not sure what happened but there hasn't been an offer of...
I always enjoy this restaurant anytime I stay at Timbri. It has beautiful rooftop views and an enjoyable menu. I do wish they would change it up a bit. It's kind of been the same for two years. But it's always fresh and never disappoints. The staff is always wonderful and super attentive. Highly recommend this place.
