Edit: My recent experiences here have been more mixed than in the past. Employees here are still fairly friendly but prices are no longer so reasonable. I do enjoy the new rewards program, though.
The employees are always super friendly and the food is awesome at a reasonable price (considering the city we're in and how expensive other quality burger places can be). They offer lots of meat options for burgers as well as a vegetable patty, and have seasonal items that rotate (like certain drinks/beers, salads, and certain meats like elk). Love it here and go to both locations all the time.

C'mon people, you actually like these burgers / sandwiches? We ordered a classic, a fried chicken sandwich, and a bison burger, along with fries and a zucchini onion haystack. ALL of the food was MEDIOCRE at best, with the haystack standing out as inedible. Nothing was worth having again. This is our second time trying this place and we were equally disappointed the first time.
The food is boring, the service slow, and the prices stupidly high for what you get. We were unanimous in concluding we will not be coming here again. Much better quality, flavor, and service can be found at this price and lower at other burger places.

The food is always good & fresh. It's the best salads in the city. The customer service is top notch. We screwed up our own order. The team was kind and helpful in getting us what we actually meant to order. They did not get annoyed at us for our own mistake & we ended up with a happy & fed 8 yr. old.

veggie burger was very good would recommend to everyone, whether they eat meat or not. the sweet potato fries were much better than the russet fries, a kids size is more than enough for one person. love that they have the option for a lettuce wrap instead of a burger bun as it was a much lighter alternative.

This is some of the best food in the Bay Area if you are looking for Chicken and Burgers. S/O to the lady who helped me several nights ago at the Union location. The quality of the food is phenomenal. It calls for a cleaner clientele and a more well rounded audience.

I found Roam Artisan Burgers in SF by accident, but I’m so glad I did. Their bison burger is juicy and flavorful, and I love the option to swap in organic, grass-fed beef or even a veggie patty. The fries are crispy, and they have a great selection of dipping sauces. It’s a perfect casual spot for a laid-back meal, especially if you're craving something fresh and elevated

We had an excellent weekday dinner here. Walked in to a bright and clean area with an easy to read and detailed menu. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and choices on the menu are abundant! It's hard to find good restraunts that have options for both meat eaters and vegans, but Roam delivered. They have several vegan options including a vegan bacon cheeseburger that was excellent. It's a house made veggie patty that was very tasty. The real I highlight though were the fries! I would go back again just for the fries. The regular burgers were also a hit with the family members that eat them. Our food also came out very quickly. Highly recommend a visit to Roam.
