I cannot recommend enough how great of an experience this was. Their omakase was innovative, delicious, and maintained the perfect balance of speed / anticipation for dishes. This is a MUST try for the area and honestly might have ruined 99% of sushi for me after I left.
as someone who has had amazing omakase in japan, this place is just below the best i've had in japan, for slightly higher cost. still worth 5 stars in my opinion. they take risks with creative fusion takes, and the vast majority are great. interesting sake selection, the sake flight was a great journey with unexpected finds. great presentation, good vibes and attentive staff.

Previous experiences were intimate, an evening with the chef to learn about the fish, why the piece was made the way it was, handmade in front of you with lots of unique innovations, and an ask for feedback at the end. While there were several very tasty pieces with cool ideas, a lot of the fish and flavor felt repeated with not nearly as much creativity as I've come to expect.
