I am a delivery person. I had an order from this hotel and when I showed the order to the employee, he said to wait for 10 minutes and I went outside and waited. When I came back after 10 minutes, he scolded me and mistreated me, asking why I was late and he even gave me an one star. This is really bad for me.šŸ‘ŽšŸ‘ŽšŸ‘ŽšŸ‘Ž

A friend and I scurried into the restaurant for a seat to grab a bit after a day of sightseeing, for a much needed nosh with sake to end the night. This is big restaurant with automated ordering and delivering service on a rocket along a conveyor belt. Namesake I suppose. The tonkotsu ramen came within 5 mins before the sushi platter and the soup is lukewarm. When the sushi platter came, we also have had the fish jaw already, so the Oder of deliveries isn’t fantastic. I thought the sushi platter is quite well done, the sashimi sizes are very generous and fresh. The staff tops up our tea and attend to our call bell very promptly.

How are you going to forget soy sauce and wasabi on an $80 order? Not happy. I called in and they said sorry we will give you extra soy sauce next time. That does not help me at all. Very inconsiderate.

This place is a lot of fun to try once: food gets delivered by rocketship. Beware that the sushi pieces are big and that the fish is sliced thick.

Do not order online! I got charge the full menu for cancellation fee before they even received the order. They gave me only 35min wait, when I’ve finished the order, the wait time was almost 2hrs, so I decided to cancel, and they charged me for the full menu. Totally disappointed!

Lunch on Sunday last week for party of two. Sashimi was tasty and looked fresh. Love their raw fatty tuna, 4 large slices with each one scored in diamond pattern for better easier enjoyment. Unagi nigiri and toro nigiri were huge, not the typical one bite size. Also had two appetizers, fried calamari and tempura platter but they were a bit too greasy I found. Servers checked in with us several times during our meal and refilled our tea and ginger. Will dine again.

Kid-friendliness: Dishes arrived at the table in rocket trays on the conveyor belt.

Wheelchair accessibility: Mom's walker couldn't pass the doorway as only one of double doors was opened. Server came to the door to open both panels.

Restaurant is located in the basement of a Supportive Housing SRO where tenants use and cook Fetanyl on a daily basis and pour it into toilets and sinks. Rocket Sushi shares the same water source as the bathrooms and restrooms in the SRO and has experienced multiple sewage leaks into their kitchen from the toilets. I believe their water, used to prepare food could potentially pose a serious health risk to customers. As it may include feces, Fetanyl and other contaminates.
Dirty back of the house with garbage and flies coming through the ripped screen door into the kitchen area. The building itself is overrun with Flies and roaches. Flies are a serious problem, and can be seen all over patio area daily. Maggots have been seen. RS was reported to be operating an illegal grease pit stored outside in the back area with their trash tubs. Sewage water from tenant bathrooms consistently flooding into restaurant leaving a mildew odor inside of restaurant. Unfriendly employees who smoke in front of the restaurant on sidewalk spitting and leaving cigarette butts. I noticed that as an employee was setting up the outside tables she had to keep swatting away flies as the entire patio was infested with flies. Employees are alleged to have stolen tenant packages. And are extremely unprofessional.

I ordered food for my mother thru DoorDash.
Wrong order was picked up. Ask if they can redo the order. Lied and said they will food was sitting hour to be picked up again by time we got food it was cold bad customer service. Literally asked nice if they can redo the order to have fresh hot food. Guy on phone just put all blame on driver and didn’t redo the order as I was told he would.
Long story short service was lazy
Door Dash drivers are great went out his way to go back and get the correct order just the sushi place didn’t redo the order placed the order at 5 didn’t receive until 7:30??ā€ā™‚ļø?

Wow. So much fun. Had no idea what I was walking into and the first time the rocket dropped off our food I was blown away. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Just loved the experience of being served by NASA rockets.
Food is great, I recommend their special rolls : although a bit more pricey than the regular ones, they have more pieces and garnish.
