Found this restaurant by accident when looking for a restaurant close to a concert we were attending. We have since returned having really enjoyed the experience. Nice wine list for such a small place. The food and service is excellent.

Authentic and fresh food, everyone speaks & behaves as authentically Italian as the food. If you are tired of Michelin chefs cooking Italian and want to eat what Italians eat, this is the best/only place in SF for that!

Everything was absolutely delicious. Very kids friendly with a kids menu which we ended up not ordering from to try out more items from the regular menu.

Absolutely phenomenal! Everything was on point. The service was excellent our waiter was charming, friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. I ordered pizza and others ordered lasagna. They ate it quickly so no pictures of the lasagna. We dined outside under the heaters. It was relaxing and pleasant. Definitely will be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food here for a late night dinner after a comedy show at the palace of fine arts. Really good pasta and truffle fries, very quick service, would love to come back!

My favorite Italian place in SF so far! Fantastic pasta with really generous portions, and excellent service from start to finish. We sat outside and came with our dog, and they even brought her meatballs, such a thoughtful and sweet touch!

I’ve been to this restaurant many times for lunch and always had great food, with a rich menu and lots of interesting options to choose from. The other night I went for dinner for the first time and, unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The dinner menu had fewer options and wasn’t nearly as interesting as the lunch menu. I ordered the cacio e pepe from the special menu and it was overloaded with pepper, with just a light sprinkle of pecorino on top, basically buttered pasta. I often order this dish at good Italian restaurants because it’s actually not easy to do well, even though it only has two ingredients, but paying $34 for butter-and-pepper pasta feels excessive. The gnocchi were clearly pre-made, not homemade. I don’t know, maybe they had some issues in the kitchen after the holidays. I’ll probably go back, but for lunch
