Their broth is amazing! I come here for that and a healthy meal. A little expensive and it is a bit plain but it's healthy and honestly sometimes you just need your protein so you need chicken. The people that work there are sweet. Parking can be tough but sometimes you get lucky.

First thing I noticed was how bad the place smelled. I almost turned around walked out. Service was fine, nothing special, but I didn’t experience rude staff like other reviews. Food was meh. The pieces of chicken I got were basically tiny and the bad parts of a rotisserie chicken. You’re paying almost $19 for boiled chicken, white rice, 1/2 a cucumber, and 2oz of sauce that goes on top. Sauce was good, but honestly I’ll skip this place and save my money next time.

For Roster and Rice - Stanyan location.I had bad experiences here.First time, when I paid the to-go order with no tip, the staff showed some bad reactions/attitudes. I thought I was a little sensitive, so I gave it a second try.On the second try, I ordered a few to-go orders of the Original without tip again to see if I got the same treatment, but got all skinless options.Now I'm not surprised why this location is rated lower than the other locations. Never want to try it again.If to-go order is expected to be paid with tip for a good treatment, it then becomes an obligation to have tip for to-go order for good treatment???
Not sure why there's so many negative reviews but this place always has hot and fresh food and good sauce. I usually order frok door dash and it's always fast

I guess my hopes were too high for this concept.Nice modern amenities such as app/online ordering, customization and even catering makes this a no brainer choice if you're eating healthy and you don't feel like cooking.Unfortunately as someone who's actually been to Asia and had the real deal, this isn't going to cut it. I needed more flavor in the chicken broth rice and for the chicken itself to be less dried out.While I'm not nearly as gluttonous as I used to be, I still found the portions to be on the tiny side. For the price I envisioned it to be 10-20% larger or at least give me a little more foundational rice to fill the gap.I wouldn't turn my nose to eating here again but personally, I know I can find better if I'm hungry nearby.

Staff said it'd be a 10-15 minute wait. 30 minutes later, nothing. I asked for a refund, and they were able to issue it *without the tip back*.
The staff person remarked, "Well, you could have waited for your order."
So I just paid for terrible service? I'll be calling my bank to get the remainder back.
Update: 2 days later
I was able to go through my bank to get a full refund. A representative of the business eventually reached out to offer apologies, a certificate and that they were looking into the situation. I felt I was able to convey my grievances about the situation to them properly.
I'm glad that they've reached out and provided a resolution, but it's still unknown if the feedback will lead to revised employee practices around how they should handle beyond-longer-than-stated-wait-times and partial refunds.
