Used to go to Rose's Cafe regularly when I worked in the city. Hadn't been in quite a few years but recently went back as my husband and I always used to have great meals there. I am sad to say that the food quality has really declined. The pasta that I ordered was so far from al dente that it was a soggy mess, although you could see hints of their former glory in the sauce, which was very tasty. Because we used to love the restaurant, I just didn't have the heart...

I didn't really enjoy my experience. The food was fine. The service was terrible and it took almost an hour for our entrees to come out. If you're going to go, order simple and get the margarita pizza and the chopped salad.
