Food was absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered had So much flavor. The service was amazing. I will definitely come back again. Can't wait to try more dishes.
Loved loved loved everything! Perfect balance in spices. The Old Fashion was so good my friend got one too!
The food here is consistently excellent and well prepared. The family that owns and runs the restaurant creates a very comfortable environment. We have visited many times and never had a bad experience.
I've dined there before and this time I asked that my order not be spicy but of course it came out super spicy again. Would not return for that reason but the owner is super friendly.
Best Indian restaurant in SF. Incredible food, just like in Bombay. The pooris with channa masala is fantastic. I have tried most of their dishes and found each one outstanding.
Absolutely some of the best Indian food we've had. Great friendly service and outstanding value. Will be back for sure!
What a lovely and friendly place to enjoy a meal with friends and families. The vibes are great (though it can be a bit noisy to hear). Food is excellent especially the chicken tikka masala. Owners dropped by our table twice to see how we enjoyed our food. It was around Diwali so we got a house dessert - yum!
It is right next to the West Portal municipality station too!

I ordered takeout and was highly disappointed. I ordered medium spice level in both the dishes, dal makhni and paneer jalfrezi. But the order that we got was EXTREMELY SPICY. It was spicy to the level of not being able to eat it.
I am a north Indian, used to eating spicy food, and this was beyond any definitions of spicy.
Also, I have been to this restaurant a couple of times before and the food has generally been delicious and perfectly balanced spices. Which is what disappointed me the most as I was looking forward to the food ?

We've been looking for a new place to get take out after our last favorite place closed. We've tried so many places and nothing was as good until Roti. Everything we ordered was delicious. We're excited to add this as our new go to takeout!

This was our first experience at the restaurant, Visiting our daughter from New York. Food-wise we particularly enjoyed the vegetable samosas and the lamb korma. The service was very attentive. The owner sent us home with mango lassis to celebrate the birth of our grandson. The waitress was totally charming and helpful. We sat outside in the sidewalk shed. It was a little chilly, but not a problem, and oh so quiet.
Lunch combos were amazing
We had chicken korma , Chiken Makhni in the combo and it was delicious.
The Salad portion they gave with this combo was good too. Mango lassi can be better but no complaints
Their appetizer combo is a must try which has onion pakora, Samosa and papadum
Overall we had an amazing lunch experience here and would definitely recommend to try this place out.
