Excellent place to buy some food when in a hurry. Their customer service is prompt, pricing is affordable, awesome ambience. Highly recommended

Roy's food was delicious and the service was great. We ordered a la carte items and had enough to eat. It's a bit pricey, but I would go back for special occasions. We loved the dessert!

You cannot beat the oysters here - perfectly chilled and so sweet and fresh. All the horseradish you want as they bring you the little jar.

Purely by chance I was able to meet a former coworker for lunch/dinner in the city. It was a strange time to eat so not a lot of people to take away from our server. In fact my friend knew the server. Which was nice. We ordered using a deal app and got apps, entrees and dessert. It was just the right amount of food. We enjoyed ourselves. The chain is known for palatable easy fusion cuisine and it didn't disappoint.

We were in San Francisco during the covid-19 shelter in. Some restaurants were doing delivery through doordash. I tried to order from Roy’s but had a lot of problems. Finally after an hour I got the site to work , only to have DoorDash tell me Roy’s was closed. I called the restaurant and the manager David said he would see what he could do. He called back to ask me to try again. He had contacted their IT dept and found out the site had not been updated. I tried again and it worked!! This was very special to us as my husband was having surgery the next day and we wanted a Roy’s meal before he went. Food was delivered to our hotel. Delicious as always. Thank you.

We go to Roy's a couple of times per year when life is normal, so we decided to check out their Mother's Day to-go options. The price was for a 3 course meal for 4 with bake-at-home souffles, and they also offered cocktails! It was a bit of a splurge, but we got plenty of food, and surprisingly it all traveled really well. The chocolate soufflés were fun, and the Bloody Mary's were decked out with all the accoutrements. Overall it was a very nice alternative to eating out and we'll be back when the world is the right way up again.

It was a slow night because of the COVID-19 stay at home orders, but we wanted to celebrate our 3-year anniversary. We are very glad we picked Roy's SF. We got a lovely window seat as requested on the Open Table rest area. Roy's placed a nice card on the table congratulating us on our anniversary and gave us a free chocolate souffle! So classy! They had a nice 50% off special for a long list of wines by the bottle. We took full advantage. Please go and patronize restaurants if you're healthy and don't have high-risk family members you're taking care of.

I ordered the sea food combo. It was listed as lobster tail, shrimp and scallops. It came with one scallop. When I questioned only one the waiter went and asked the chef and came back and said it came with just one. No offer of a second one. The restaurant was empty. It couldn't have hurt to give me another one. We paid over $100 per person. Won't be in a hurry to go back. In general the food was well prepared.

I have eaten at Roy's a number of times and it has always been excellent. The spareribs appetizer, which has always been superb was changed this time. Rather than being a spare-rib on the bone with sauce like spare-ribs are typically serviced, it was thinly sliced on the bone. There was little meat and sauce. I would not recommend the spare-rib appetizer. The rest of the meals were wonderful. I always order the chocolate lave cake!

been to roy's on several occasions, always on point...nice, varied menu, great cocktails...we had a $40.00 voucher from roy's , so that made it even nicer....now we have a $50.00 voucher coming our way, so we'll definitely be coming back.....

For the price point, they have opportunities for improvement. The sushi was very high quality (and good) but our shellfish was overcooked, kitchen was quite slow, and service well intended but quite slow to respond. We had such high hopes. Such a contrast to the less expensive but fantastic service of Liholiho Yacht Club.

The service was slow, the food was mediocre and the price was skyhigh. I would not go back and have let those I work with to avoid the place for team celebrations, client dinners and even for a simple night out.

One day I was browsing the gift card section and Costco and noticed they had a single set of gift cards to a restaurant called Roys. The price was very good so I decided to buy them for the next time I was in San Francisco. I purposely planned our dinner to be during happy hour because their happy hour appetizers sounded delicious. We arrived at around 6pm on a Saturday night and we were able to take a seat right away at the bar. There was only one other couple there so we didn't feel cramped at all. My husband and I ordered the beef sliders, tempura shrimp, and lobster potstickers to eat. We also ordered one red sangria, one white sangria, a Mai Tai, the Rye Me a River drink, and the macadamia nut bread pudding. Both of us loved everything we got. My husbands favorite being the sliders and my favorite being the tempura shrimp. The only item we thought was just okay was the macadamia nut bread pudding. Still good though. The service here was also fantastic. It is in a little nicer part of San Francisco, which is definitely a plus. I would absolutely come back again especially for their happy hour!

Enjoy my 15th anniversary Good food and attentive service. Our deep fried calamari was fresh and non greasy. The ginger sauce was a bit spicy that came with it I definitely enjoyed the aïoli that I asked for to go with the calamari. The appetizers are a great way to sample quite a few things.
