This place is a ridiculous gem of a spot. Rather unassuming from the outside, but inside is a super focused, stylish and capable kitchen turning out a small menu of greatness. It almost goes without saying that this is not grocery store rotisserie chicken. You actually get crispy skin here, non generic seasoning and nosiness throughout. It's also served with fresh mint and cilantro, and all the chimichurri you can stand. The sides are impeccable with next level roasted broccoli and Brussels, both also served with herbs and bright sauces. All wrapped it up with really great service. Date night-level ambiance too! Only thing is you need to be ready for stinky leftovers because the amount of cruciferous veggies (cauliflower, sprouts, broccoli) you can get, but it's worth it.

Twelve dollars for a beautifully roasted half-chicken is an absolute steal in San Francisco: like an Alameda County car break-in kind of steal.The casual, chicken-focused younger niece of Evan and Sarah Rich's Rich Table, RT Rotisserie focuses primarily on making great, rotisserie chicken at very affordable prices for its quality.The half-chicken, containing the leg, breast, and wing, is beautifully cooked, and juicy enough to enjoy with nothing but a lemon wedge. If not, it comes with two sauces that you may choose out of several.The chimichurri was a bit too creamy for my liking, and the BBQ was also bit too sweet, but enjoyable all the same.Decided a life of crime was for me - I'm becoming a regular here.

I stopped at RT Rotisserie on Oak Street for lunch a while ago. In terms of food, I tried their Chicken Rice Bowl with Chimichurri Sauce. It came with nice pieces of chicken that were tender and flavourful, the rice was really good as it was cooked in chicken fat, and the assortment of vegetables was a nice combination. The chimichurri sauce also complemented everything. It was a good value meal given the quality and quantity of food for the price and I’d give them 9/10
