Best coffee in the city. Their latte with simple syrup is delicious whether getting it iced or hot. The housemade simple syrup has a pinch of salt which makes it tastes almost butterscotch-y. The baristas are always so friendly too, all while pulling perfect espresso shots at the speed of light. Even with a long line out the door on weekends, it doesn't take too long to get your coffee.

We searched for the best coffee in Google in the area and this one popped up, so we decided to try.
Looked very stylish.
The design of waiting in line and ordering was not clear and when we walked in to order the barista that took our orders were gossiping about our group to another customer.
The girls on making the actual coffee were quite frankly a lot nicer than the bloke. The design of the girls made was very cute.
However, the coffee was disappointing and tasted like dirt but I think that may be because as a Aussie we have great roasters in Australia.
But I thought America being close to South America they would have all the good brands like compost coffee.
I wouldn’t come back, unfortunately I would prefer to have better customer service than a nice coffee sometimes.

A very cozy place in the financial district. Even though we went on a weekend, there were still a lot of people working there. Their pour over coffee is reasonably priced and they also provide coffee beans in the shop. I like the paintings they have inside. The coffee also comes with a postcard telling us where the coffee beans come from and the history, which I think is very nice. If you like coffee, I recommend giving this place a try.
Kim was very friendly; it was first time going to SaintFrank. When I walked in I was still trying to get oriented but was instantly noticed and greeted right away. Drinks made in the spot. Not a lot of seats, and I wish management left a note closer to the bottom of the stairs that said it lead to their office. I almost wandered up, would have been embarrassing to have to be told to go back down. I think there was a sign but not in the immediate area. I didn't have my glasses so it took me a second to see. Definitely coming back. I got the lychee spritz; very refreshing and fresh club soda was used per order and I really liked that.

I tried 1 specialty espresso and 2 specialty pour over.
Espresso was impeccable. Very nice beans (brundi), even better extraction. I liked that they were not pushing difficult beans to customers. Well balanced, pleasant earthy flavors on top of sweetness and floral amora. No heavy kicks, creamy deep palette, clear finish.
Pourovers - Kenya and brundi - much better when the coffee cooled down to lukewarm temp - which I believe is evidence to great quality and skill. No bitterness whatsoever, a lot of terroir, mineral, airy floral aroma, great balance.
Ten out of ten for sure.
Good coffee, nice people, and nice outdoor/indoor spaces.

Good coffee, but staff have a terribly dismissive attitude - if I wasn’t meeting someone at this location I would’ve walked out.

We ordered their special “Thuti”. We waited more than 15 minutes and still didn’t get the coffee. They were serving coffees to other customers who came after us. Waiting was one thing, sad part of the story was when we approached them about the order they acted like nothing happened and told us to wait for them to make a new one. And I left. Mistakes can happen but i think the etiquette and manner are important in this business.

Deceptively and unfairly adds a fee called "SF health mandate" to the menu price. This is a restaurant set fee that should be included in the menu price.
Listing it separately is deceptive and unfair.
Due to their dishonesty 1 star.

Serendipity. Went searching for another coffee shop and found this place. Beautiful space, beautiful long coffee bar, nice lighting. I had the ham and swiss croissant, shot of espresso, and cappuccino. Good customer service and a modern cozy environment. Well done!
