Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and I would definitely return. It was a busy Saturday night so the service was on the slower side - but all very, very polite. Excellent range of Japanese sashimi, nigiri, udon, hand rolls, and a la carte - we had the chef's nigiri tasting menu options for 5 and 8 pieces. The fish liver appetizer was sold out or else we would have had that too. Plus the “avocado bomb” appetizer, which arrived after our sushi. We tried a couple of sakes too. Everything was super flavorful and umami-rich. I will be craving it until I can have it again.
Love this place

Food was good as usual. Service however was a let down today. We paid but the cashier sent the waiter down the street yelling at us for the payment. We had to go back and proved we paid. Not a great experience. This will be the last time to dine here.

Ordered on line, was charged $8 for a single inari filled with crab. They confirmed with us that it would be $5 for the adaptation, for two pieces I thought that was fine. Not for one. Just a massive rip off. Ordered an item literally labeled “shrimp tempura” and it came as a roll which removed one persons entire order as they don’t eat seaweed. Salmon skin handroll was soggy and the skin was in tiny little flakes, almost ground. Overall poor quality ingredients, took significantly longer than expected to arrive, and customer service has been defensive instead of helpful. Do not give this place your business.

Delivery order was completely fumbled. The shrimp tempura was actually a roll with tiny pieces of shrimp even though it states "shrimp tempura" online. Only one Inari was $9 (we expected 2). Some of the rice in the sushi was crunchy. The overall quality of the vegetarian sushi was really bad. There are much better sushi restaurants in SF instead of this place. Not worth the money.

Sake bombed our delivery. Bland and bad smelling miso soup, old avocado in the California roll. Spicy tuna and salmon roll also did not taste great. Felt like we got some old rolls that had been sitting around for hours. We threw half of it away, and what we did eat did not taste good either.

1.5 hour wait after ordering sushi is crazy
Excellent restaurant with great food. The food quality is amazing, with a lot of variety. Also has unique food options, must try new dishes. Staff is very nice and helpful. Great place for a beautiful date night.
