Loved the different flavours! Coffee nut and olive oil is what I tried. The blue cheese and peach was surprisingly good too!
This location was infested with vegans, but I was able to get a small ice cream without being harmed. Only experiences minor emotional traumas.
Interesting place with interesting flavor combinations that make it worth the visit. I would give it five stars if it were richer and creamier ice cream, but the flavors are pretty darn good!
I love salt and straw and all their monthly flavors! Delicious ice with all their unique flavor. I love coming here on a warm SF sunny day!
For me it was delicious
Their freckled mint chocolate chip is my all time favourite ice cream! They have 3 standard vegan flavours plus monthly rotating ones. I had the “banana bread with strawberry jam” flavour this time and it was divine. They let you try all the flavours and I like how they don’t use disposable plastic spoons for taste testing! was having a terrible day and the girls working here were so so sweet and totally turned it around!!! definitely will be back
Obsessed with their ice cream!! It’s a MUST!
Im drooling just thinking about this ice cream again.
Got the gooey brownie and the salted, malted, cookie dough. The sizes were a good portion. Can definitely taste the salt in the cookie dough, which helps balance the other flavors. && brownies were gooey with a touch of fudge? Lovely.
All Salt And Straw's are nice. They are fire. There is a downside:
The limited editions are (good) for the most part, the only good one I had was the cereal line. I won't forget it.

Omg my daughter brought us here for the first time. We will definitely be back!
Best vegan ice cream I've ever had!!!
Salt & Straw came up on my IG feed with Death By Chocolate Cake ice cream. The base of this is malted barley oat milk, infused with two types of cocoa, swirls of chocolate caramel fudge, and chunks of chocolate ganache-glazed cake. This is seriously the best ice cream I've ever had. Most of the ice cream here is coconut based, I'm not really a coconut fan.
I ordered the sea salt & caramel ribbon (recommended apparently) - it’s extremely sweet! I couldn’t even finish it
Edit: In response to the owner’s comment, I did sample different flavours and they’re all still extremely sweet. $20 for two cones? (Including a somewhat mandatory tip as a tipping screen will be shown after you pay) Outrageous!
