Store wasn't even open during posted business hours. Never received my order after an hour and had to go there to find out. Now, I have to wait for a refund and find something else.

Sammie's was a pleasant find as I ran to catch the muni #2 from my doc appointment. It has a pleasantly decorated wall showcasing its logo and art, a slew of cute plants, cushy seats and some fantastic coffee served in cute homely mugs. There's a fair few drink options to chose from, I opted for a simple latte and later a cappucino which Trisha brewed for me with excellent accompanying latte art and at just the right temperature. They use Henry's coffee beans which are on the softer side and not acidic (I felt), it made for a very enjoyable and soothing drink. I'd love to try their other options out sometime, it's easy to spend many hours here.

great neighborhood gem for a morning pick me up. service and vibes are uplifting. sandwiches were delicious and one of the few places nearby that offer quality sandwiches early in the morning. i also enjoyed their strawberry matcha latte, not too sweet and strong matcha flavor. would come back :)

The menu is perfect for quick breakfast and brunch! I've only been a few times but I love the food (especially their smoothie menu) and the girls that work there, they're very nice!

I have to admit I came out of St. Francis feeling forlorn after spending all morning going through a battery of medical tests. Feeling quite spent, I was making my way down Nob Hill when I noticed Milkbean changed its identity. Then and there, I decided I needed something similar to their former menu of sammies and gratefully found the menu didn't change that much. I went for the $10 Ultimate Veggie Sandwich. It was a genuinely tasty melange of avocado, cucumber, tomato, onion, and toasted red pepper on toasted Dutch crunch (photo: bit.ly/3OQxzUL). It was quite satisfying, though no matter how much bread they attempted to scoop out, the carbs still dominated. For added indulgence, I went for the $7 Yellow Smoothie, a tropical creation of banana, mango, pineapple, vanilla yogurt and milk (photo: bit.ly/3OQxCzV).FOOD - 4 stars...satisfying sammie with a thick smoothie AMBIANCE - 4 stars..,the same small place with just enough seating, customers skew younger hereSERVICE - 4 stars...pretty conscientious TOTAL - 4 stars...it's sammie timeRELATED - Exploring Nob Hill? Wandered into this neighborhood cafe to get away from crowds. Tried The Sammie with coffee, then an almond butter cake. All delicious and reasonably priced! Low key atmosphere with free WiFi. Had to get the Wilmer and a few more almond cakes to go!

I finally had time to stop in to this cute little spot ( they have limited hours of 8-2 so I usually miss them before work and they are closed when I come home) and don't regret it at all! The strawberry matcha latte is so tasty and refreshing, especially for spring/summer time. I also got the Sam Sandwich on Dutch crunch (toasted of course) and it was so good I ate it before I had the chance to get a good picture! The decor is very fresh and clean, as well as the whole establishment being very clean in general. I may have found one of my favorite little sandwich spots in my area now, for sure returning to try out more tasty drinks and treats

LOVED IT!Coffee - 10/10 on the flavor! Highly recommend the homemade vanilla bean latte. (The best one I've tried so far as many coffee shots can't get that unique vanilla bean flavor.)Sandwiches - BOMBBBBBBBB, so packed especially for the price!Service was great with the host recommending her fav sandwiches. The seating area was so relaxing and bright with plants and nice music in the background. We definitely recommend!

This is the new incarnation of Milkbean. I go there several times a week because I live nearby. The food and coffee are very good and the staff is very friendly. This place is a real asset to the neighborhood.

I loved this place before. They have really good BF sandwiches. So good. I would recommend if you haven't tried it.

I used to come here when it was Milkbean and was excited they were keeping some of the same menu. I ordered the Hottie breakfast sandwich ($8) and would order it again--great bagel, cheese, and hot sausage. Really warms the stomach and soul If you check-in on Yelp, you can get a free coffee with a breakfast sandwich too! I'll be back for some of their fancier lattes, especially since I love love loved Milbean's Lavender Latte and the recipe has carried over to Sammie, and it looks like they now offer more baked goods like scones.Interior decor is still extremely cute, bright, pink, and airy. Love the books. There's also lots of outlets so you can work here. Will be back!
