Went to this hidden gem in Yerba Buena Gardens on my lunch break. It’s easy to miss as it’s tucked away on an elevated walkway but my nose led the way. The building it’s housed in is very ambient, calm, and airy. It’s the perfect oasis to enjoy a peaceful, yet filling lunch. I ordered the lovely Pestoriffic pizza and was deeply satisfied with the saucy and liberally topped Detroit style pie. It’s pretty filling and I still have leftovers to enjoy. I’d say that the price is worth it for a lovingly crafted pie. I will definitely be back to sample the entire menu as all the pizzas look absolutely tantalizing.

Probably worst type of pizza I have ever had. It’s just not for me. I could eat 1.5 pieces and threw away the rest. It’s self service. The place is very noisy despite being almost empty.

Had the Cinnanots. No cinnamon ( hardly) its as if my mom was making it or something. It's a dessert, it's supposed to be full of cinnamon.

It's been over two years and I can't stop thinking about this pizza. I'm sorry for the late review, but I live in orange county, CA and went here on a weekend trip two years ago! I will never forget the deep dish vegan pizza I had here. I wish I could go back to San Francisco just for THIS pizza. The sauce was so fresh, it tasted like they made it from scratch with a secret recipe. My boyfriend and I still talk about it. ?

I am visiting from Kentucky and this was the very first food I ate in San Francisco! It was so good and I'm so relieved that it had a very casual vibe.

Their pizza is crusty and cheesy, I've taken a meattza and it was amazing. Also the one with chicken was top. They've also interesting replacements without meat.Detroit style pizza at its best.

Fast delivery, delicious vegan options. I'm visiting from the east coast and was craving vegan pizz; Joyride really hit the spot. Would definitely recommend.

Came here on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty with plenty of seating. We ordered on the iPad and got the Bacon Me Crazy. I thought the price was a bit steep for the amount but I did split with a friend. It was pretty delicious. I would consider coming back if I want to splurge for Detroit style pizza.

It's been a long time since marinara sauce made me feel alive. Somehow this place managed to recreate the feeling I had of my earliest moments eating Marina and wrap the gift of it up in a pretty package. Quite refreshing... Thank you. Don't forget to follow my account for more great ideas on an eventful day in the bay area!

It was $36 for a soda and a 9" square personal pizza (including $5 to add veggie sausage) The price is unacceptable to begin with, but it's made worse by the fact that the pizza is completely flavorless, despite all the random toppings they pile on. Oh, and it took over 20 minutes for a pizza, when I was the only person in the restaurant. Glad I didn't tip.

We enjoyed the food and ambiance! Ordering was via a POS system inside the restaurant, with most of the seating outside.I really liked the outdoor seating atop the Yerba Buena Gardens, but we ate on a warm sunny day so can see why outdoor may not be the move during the colder winters. Our pizza came out very fast, service was great in that regard. We had the Sweet Bianca which was a simple (aesthetically pleasing) combination of cheese and fig jam. Every time I came across a bit of fig jam in my pizza, it was an infusion of sweetness that paired so well with the saltier cheese. Not to mention the crust was done so well -- crispy just the way I like it!We didn't like how they only serve full pizzas here, but that is par for the course (Square Pie Guys also does this). Be prepared to share with a friend or take half home after your meal. We were able to finish the pizza as two people but felt like it was maybe a little too much food?Overall we really enjoyed Joyride Pizza and this specific location! Would come back if we are in the area

Hmmm I really wanted to like this place, but I just didn't have the best experience. To start, only one of the POS machines was working, so that created a bit of a line. Additionally, the kitchen area was playing music very loudly, which was clashing and competing with the music playing inside the dining area, and it was definitely giving me sensory overload. And the bathroom was "closed" even though it was clearly functional and working for staff. For the actual food, the pizza was pretty good, but definitely not something I'd have again. The crust was perfectly crusty, but there definitely wasn't enough sauce in my opinion, and something just seemed missing from it.Overall this place has potential, but they really need to clean up the inside area and make it a little more appealing to dine in at.

August 2023:Stopped by for lunch and ordered the pineapple pizza plus sausage! I'm a big fan of Detroit style pizza ? and I thought the pizza was really tasty ?.There were also jalapenos, sweet peppers, red onion, pepperoncini, and Mike's hot honey on the pizza. Was a delicious lunch!Menu was very extensive. Lots of options. Will definitely be back again for more delicious pizza!
