Another great meal at Sam's. We love sitting in the outdoor patio. Renault was our server. He is always charming. Food is delicious. French fries are addictive, but they need to up their cocktail game. Their ice cubes are unimpressive and the drinks are uninspired. But will always come back for more great food. I just wish they were open on Saturdays!!!
Excellent meal. We came in close to end of lunch and they were very accommodating. Had the seafood Cobb and want to go back now just thinking about it. Can't go wrong with this menu.
Sam's is a SF tradition. Just like Tadich Grill. One does not go to for the ambience but the food has always been reliably good. During this last visit, I had pan fried Petrale sole and it was fresh and done perfectly. Simple but delicious. The place was kind of noisy even though we had a booth. I would still go back for the food
