There is absolutely no logical reason this bar club should be charging $15 admission. It's only worth a $5 cover charge at best.

We went inside for 10 minutes and we got 2 phones stolen. The staff weren't helping at all. Then we found out that 2 more people got stolen their phones too that night. Don't go there if you don't want to get your stuff stolen

Beware of pickpockets at this place. My friend got his phone stolen last night and there were other 3 people at the door in the same situation

Got my phone stolen and the bartenders literally got irritated when I tried asking for help.
PS seven other people had their phones confiscated.

So glad they reopened! The staff from the security to the bar tenders were super nice and chill. We randomly bar hopping and walked in on a Monday. Less crowd but perfect to have a drink and enjoy music videos.

My phone got stolen in a brief 1-2 minute at the bar and my friend got jumped. I’m pretty sure the bartender was IN ON my phone getting stolen because he said I couldn’t use Apple Pay and had me put it back in my open purse and take out my credit card, even though I tapped to pay. He was talking to two dudes who seemed sober, straight, and weren’t drinking immediately to my left - the side my purse was on. I’m pretty sure they are who stole my phone. When I went to put my wallet away after paying, my phone was gone. The bartender then seemed totally unphased and the security guard laughed at me.

Not long after my friend was jumped by a group of people who were pissed off for no apparent reason, right outside the bar. They stole his necklace too. Security guard did nothing.

Long story short - DO NOT GO HERE

Arrogant bartenders that say you're intoxicated when you're not and tell you they won't serve you. I hold my alcohol very well and I assure you I wasn't intoxicated. Bartender looked like he was 15. They also don't check everyone's ID's and they over serve and over pour. If you're really that concerned about people being intoxicated in your bar, which is against the law, then you should stop over serving an over pouring. Be careful, they also like to double charge your card.

All updated but it doesn’t look that different. Same 2 for one specials. Except they substitute ginger ale for that weird coke and 7up mixture.

PLEASE play better / newer music I want to shake ass also clean a lil the dance floor is soo dusty and gross idk how you can justify a cover when you give nothing. No one cares about music videos !!

I always loved this bar and never disliked it. Come in early, and have fun. It gets hotter in the middle of the dance floor.

DO NOT GO HERE! They took our money, $60 then immediately kicked us out since our friend was “too drunk” 🙄

Doesn’t look any different than it did 10 years ago and we weren’t even able to get on the dance floor. Bathrooms still stink but they somehow feel the need to charge $15 cover. That’s the most expensive cover at the Castro. I can’t. Definitely not worth it. Save your money and eat tacos at the corner of Chevron instead.
