Visiting from Australia and had the pleasure of meeting Shirley. So cosy and comfortable. I can’t wait to come back on my next visit

Shirley was amazing! We did the wine tasting and let her pick our wines. She did not disappoint! I could have taken a bottle of each of her selections home. The meat and cheese board was really fresh and flavorful. We were able to go look around and pick our own meats and cheeses. She gives a generous amount and plated it beautifully! The back patio seemed like a wine speakeasy. It was beautiful and full of plants! I will definitely be coming back to San Francisco just to return here. Our experience at this place was the highlight of our trip!

Such a cute spot to have rare wines from overseas while you enjoy cheese from around the globe. Don’t pass this place up. Shirley is the best! You’ll feel like you’re invited to someone’s home in Italy.

Shirley has extensive knowledge of cheeses and wine. Her store is warm and inviting and she is incredibly hospitable. The prices are correct! Favorite spot in SF!

Delicious sandwiches, impressive collection of wines and cheeses, and a very knowledgeable and friendly owner/host/connoisseur aka Shirley. Will be going back routinely.

Be sure to enjoy a tasting in the rear patio and be on the lookout for local events.

It was perfect: hidden gem in San Fransisco!

I’ve had San Francisco Wine & Cheese on my must visit list for awhile now. Right as you step inside, you’re greeted by walls of wine that feel almost like a library of bottles. Owner Shirley enthusiasms about wine is contagious.

Keep wandering and the shop turns into a little pantry of, cheeses, cured meats, loose teas or you can order sandwiches. Then you slip through a hallway and, like magic, you’re in a leafy covered patio that feels miles away from the traffic outside. It’s quiet, cozy, and the perfect spot to lose track of time.

When I stopped by Shirley pulled up a chair to chat about how she got into the wine world. She poured a few tastes, told some stories, and explained her mission: keep the wine great, the prices friendly, and the vibes relaxed.

Need a glass after work? Planning a picnic? Want a couple of bottles for dinner with friends? Swing by and say hi to Shirley. She’s usually running the place solo, though her husband pops in to help now and then. Shops like this make San Francisco feel special, so let’s keep supporting them. Cheers!

We absolutely LOVE SF Wine and Cheese. Great cheese selection, FANTASTIC wines, and Shirley is such a wonderful person and has amazing recommendations. Every time we come in we just give a general idea of what we’re looking for and she always has great recommendations that my wife and I enjoy. If you have never been (and I suggest that you go), you just need to ring the doorbell and you will get let in.

I’m so happy to have recently discovered SF Wine & Cheese! I was pleasantly surprised by how cute the space is, especially with the cozy back patio seating—it’s such a gem. Shirley is absolutely amazing and so personable. Truly the best customer service!

During my first visit, I tried the wine sample and cheese board, and I was not disappointed—it was perfect. Since then, I’ve been back plenty of times, whether it’s for their delicious sandwiches or their special events.

If you haven’t been, I highly recommend checking out SF Wine & Cheese.

The sandwich, cheese platter, and wine selection here is exceptional. Shirley’s extensive knowledge and kind demeanor made me feel immediately welcomed.

My only regret is not having discovered SF Wine and Cheese sooner. I’ll be sure to I’ll visit more often now and support this local establishment.
