I had the pleasure of having my birthday at SF wine and cheese, and it was MAGNIFICENT. The food, the wine, the atmosphere - magical. Shirley was so wonderful, so helpful and just the best. I would give 10 stars if I could.If you need a spot for good charcuterie, or a place that transports you back to Paris, this is it. Look no further. Just, go!

We had a truly amazing night at Shirley’s wine & cheese tasting ?? With a group of 15 people, we enjoyed 4 glasses of wine and a lot of cheeses, charcuterie, French rillettes, raclette - all so delicious! The service by Shirley was fantastic, she is so enthusiastic and kind. We even got a few extra bottles to drink at the end of the evening. I can’t wait to come back her asap!

Pricey and dissapointing. My girlfriend and I saw this place and for quite a while were interested in trying it. When we did we found the menu and ordering process confusing, the place not very nice, and items not very fresh. The staff was kind but that doesn't make up for the lack of value or freshness. Other postings pictures definitely show that they had a better experiences. Maybe we had a second rate experience being we weren't regulars or they needed to off some product being it was going bad. Price - When going to a pricey place you expect it to at least be nice and cleanly. This place seems more like a warehouse or little shop with some tables in back. I have had better love and quality throughout Napa, Sonoma County, or Marin County for less.Freshness - We were served a charcuterie board with meat, cheese, and turning fruit. All the fruit was mushy and beyond ripe. No sauces, no olives or anything like that. Very basic. It's clear that they would rather serve turning fruit than to waste it. Wine tasting - We had 3 different red wines placed on the table with no explanation of what they were. And cork in 2 of them as you can see in the picture. I don't like giving bad reviews. But I felt like we wasted our money that day. Hope you have a better experience.

Called in an order for delivery and they made some lovely wine recommendations. It was so convenient they could do a delivery order the same day within a few hours. Hard to find good quality and good service like this ?

Partner and I were looking for a "really good deli or sandwich shop" and there isn't much within walking distance in the area... but we stumbled upon this wine and cheese shop. I figured they wouldn't serve lunch here but I read the yelp reviews about the sandwiches so we decided to give it a try. What an awesome small business! The sandwiches were SO GOOD. Really good bread, definitely didn't skimp on the meat. In fact, we each only ate half and the rest is in the fridge for later. Sandwiches were about $15 (not bad at all) and we just HAD to get a glass of wine (about $12, also not bad at all). Wine was also very good. The back patio was a surprising little hideaway full of plants. Felt like we were eating in a garden. The place is small and only has a few tables but I think I found my new sandwich spot.OH and, this is definitely a great date spot. They have a menu of different charcuterie plates and wine tasting options. The music they played gave it a nice ambiance. Awesome little gem in the middle of Hayes Valley!

What a delightful little place and great snacks and sandwiches and a wonderful selection of wines. Don’t let the facade fool you. They have a cute little area at the back which seats about 5 or 6 tables. Pure delight.
