Awesome spot! Amazing vegan sushi menu with a lot of cool items, great atmosphere, vibrant community spot, and they have a whole space for games with friends in the back!! Totally recommended. Try the Golden Gate Roll.

I had the unfortunate experience of visiting this restaurant recently and it was terrible experience from when I walked in the door. I highly suggest if you want great vegan sushi go to shizen on 14th.

Missed the J line so decided to randomly stop in. Sushi was amazing! The salmon avocado was pretty big for a basic roll, and the mom’s right was a nice combo of yellowtail and butterfish. The people working there were really nice.

Very good spot, all sushi / rolls I've tried there were delicious, good looking and quiet big! Also, they have one of the biggest vegan menus I've ever seen in a sushi place and serve an impact tuna as an alternative.
Definitely going again!

READ THIS IF YOU ARE NOT LOOKING FOR VEGAN SUSHI:
This place has good reviews for vegan sushi. The ACTUAL sushi is not good!! Too much rice and mayonnaise. The ginger also tasted like soap. If you’re vegan, go here. If not, you can find better sushi in the tenderloin.

This is my favorite sushi spot in San Francisco. The chef is truly an artist - the flavors super well balanced and the attention to detail is amazing. What I like the most of Sancha Sushi is the vast vegetarian and vegan options they provide!!

?Sancha sushi is vegan / plant-based HEAVEN. Chef Tamir uses a vegan tuna from Impact Food that made every vegan dish taste so good. I had the cherry blossom roll, golden gate roll and the vegan avocado roll. We also tried togarashi tuna and the nigiris/sashimis. I also had the vegan royal wish cheese which my friend didn’t like but I’ve been CRAVING a roll like this ever since I’ve gone vegan and this 100% hit the spot. Also, rolls are giant so bring a friend.
Vegetarian options: There is an entire Vegan menu using Impact Food’s tuna!

No frills vegan menu! Such fresh delicious seasonal ingredients. Our favorites were Cherry Blossom Roll and the Pass the Dutchie. The Crab Pockets are delicious too - the waitstaff is so helpful and friendly, high recommend!

Though I’m sure vegan options are fine, would not recommend for regular fish. Tasted like canned tuna in our cooked roll and the app we ordered was all the bad fatty ends of the salmon. Very overpriced for quality. Service was good.
Restaurantji Recommends
-vegan tuna avocado roll - okay 5.5/10. The plant based tuna has a ways to go. Kind of a weird flavor and texture to a lesser degree.
-Daniel San roll - great 9/10
Would definitely return to try more! Appreciate the ample vegan options

Great food! The service was lackluster though. The wait staff brought only one serving of wasabi & pickled ginger for us (a party of 3) and was pushy in getting the bill paid (the restaurant wasn’t busy). If the management is reading, please train your wait staff to do better.

Unfortunately this place has tripled their prices and kept quality the same / dropped it. Used to be $5 for a tuna roll, now is $12. “Normal” sized rolls are $30. Price of ingredients has not increased nearly that much during the same time period, and other sushi places in same geographic area are better and cheaper.
