Great food, amazing flavors
The pulled pork sandwich was good. The rice bowl was interesting but the rice was a little too el Dante for me.
The outdoor seating works out well. The cashier was nice!
I stopped here on a whim after a chiropractor appointment and I feel BLESSED bc the lomo saltado sandwich was so phenomenal I was left wishing I had another one as soon as it was eaten (sadly I was already commuting home). The flavor was amazing idk if it’s the sauce the meat is cooked in or the sauce on the sandwich or the seasoning itself but it was brilliant, I will 100% be back. I’m torn bc I want that sandwich again but the whole menu looks so good it may be a while before I order the same one 😋
Very unique for the area! It's down-to-earth food, but a nice breath of fresh air from all the Mexican and Chinese around the mission.
Got the pan con chicharron and it was a pretty decent sandwich. The pork was rich, peppery and braised to perfection. Fell apart in my mouth. It's perfectly paired with some pickled onions, and in case you're not a fan of the sour flavour, there's a whole sweet potato in the sandwich to ease out the flavour and add a hint of sweetness. Overall, great sandwich with incredible amount of layering.
That said, nothing crazy special, just a bit unique. A bit pricey, but it's the bay area.
I'll probably be coming back to try out their other dishes.
Great bowls and empanadas

One of the best sandwich shops in the bay. We’ve tried several things on the menu, including the happy hour sliders, but our favorite is the chicharrón sandwich🤤. Approved by Peruanos 👍🏼

I can't recommend this place highly enough.
We had a lomo santaso sandwich, barbacoa, and pork belly sandwich. Everything was flavourful and perfectly spiced.
The bread was crispy on the outside and soft inside.
Sweet potato fries had perfect texture and were salted to perfection.

I visited this place after seeing it recommended by several foodies, as I wanted to try something different. It’s a to-go spot, but they have a few tables to eat there. When I arrived, the staff was very friendly, and they suggested the lomo saltado sandwich and fried yuca, along with a beer. The total was over $30 for these three items, which I found a bit pricey for what I got.
While waiting, I noticed they were getting a lot of delivery orders, which raised my expectations. However, when the food arrived, it wasn’t as impressive as I had hoped. The bread and sauce on the sandwich were good, but the lomo itself was pretty average. The fried yuca, despite having some toppings and a cheese sauce, lacked flavor, and a better seasoning could have really elevated the dish.
The atmosphere wasn’t very comfortable due to the heat, but my cold beer helped me get through the wait. Overall, it was an okay experience, but not enough to make me want to return. It’s not a bad place, just not one that fully won me over.

100% perfect, this is some of the best food I have ever had. The Chicharron was perfectly cooked, moist, and succulent. The service was on point and happy to assist. I would drive into SF just to eat this food again!

Their sandwiches are delicious, specially the lomo salteado and the fried chicken. The arroz chaufa is also delicious. Everything in the menu is very tasty. Informal atmosphere and friendly staff. They have a happy hours with food and beer discounts.
