First time here and got the sushi sashimi combo and udon soup. Both were delicious! Fish was very fresh and the udon had great meat to noodles to soup proportions.
Such a nice spot so we’re definitely coming back!

We were looking a sushi place while we were visiting and found Sanraku! When we tried our food we instantly LOVED IT. It was one of the best sushi places i have ever been to! Definitely recommend it!

The food was decent, but the service left a lot to be desired. I arrived at 8:30 p.m. and already knew what I wanted, so I was ready to order in less than five minutes. However, the female staff member didn’t greet me at all instead, she just asked, “Do you know what you want yet?” with what seemed like an annoyed expression. It made me feel quite unwelcome.
I finished my meal before 9:00 p.m., knowing the restaurant was about to close, and tried to be considerate of that. Still, the lack of friendliness really affected the overall experience. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning. It was a disappointing way to end what should’ve been an enjoyable meal.

The sushi chef here was originally brought from Japan to cook at Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco.
You can trust their authenticity and quality.
As a Japanese living in this city, I love this Japanese restaurant. The staff is always very friendly. The food is authentic but the menu accommodates non-Japanese customers as well.
My favorite is, Chirashi, sashimi over sushi rice.
Highly recommended!
