Years ago I worked at a Sarku (then Sakura) Japan in my hometown in Georgia so I'm very familiar with the brand. This location is in the heavily declining San Francisco Mall where half of the stores and restaurants are shuttered. Food came out hot and fast but I was the only customer in line at the time. My rice came out of the nearly empty rice pot and was stale but edible.

The service at this little establishment inside the Westfield Mall is atrocious. I waited patiently for 20 minutes for my burger to be ready, and when I walked to the counter to inquire the lady working there said they hadn't started my order yet and it will be another 10 mins.

If you want to eat chicken that is overcooked, dry, and tasteless go here. All the cooks just done care and takes their sweet time to do anything but cook the food correctly. Never going back.
