Review for Scarlett Lounge (Last Night’s Experience)
I don’t usually write reviews, but after what happened last night, I feel like I have to speak up. I went into Scarlett Lounge hoping for a good time, maybe a drink or two, and instead I walked out feeling completely dismissed and honestly a little embarrassed.
The bartender Joanne was the main reason the night went downhill. From the moment I sat at the bar, she made it painfully obvious that serving me was not a priority at all. I tried to be patient — I understand bars get busy — but this wasn’t a busy situation. This felt personal, like I was invisible.
Joanne spent most of her time chit-chatting with a group of customers, laughing and leaning over the bar, fully engaged with them while I sat there waiting. I tried to make eye contact. I even raised my hand politely at one point. She looked directly at me… and then just turned back to her conversation as if I wasn’t even there. It felt disrespectful, like my presence didn’t matter.
When she finally decided to come over, there was zero effort to be accommodating. No smile. No “sorry for the wait.” Not even basic courtesy. Just a cold, quick, “What do you want?” like I was bothering her by trying to order a drink. Her energy was so dismissive that it instantly killed the whole vibe of the night for me.
I’ve been to all kinds of bars — upscale spots, dives, lounges — and I’ve never felt so brushed off by a bartender. It wasn’t the crowd or the atmosphere. It was the lack of customer care from Joanne that ruined everything. Maybe she treats regulars well, but if you’re a new face, don’t expect much.
Last night was supposed to be fun. Instead, I left annoyed, disappointed, and honestly questioning why I even gave this place a chance. I definitely won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Got a cocktail (Boulvardier) which was so so, but most importantly it’s a DOG FRIENDLY bar!! 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️ my golden retriever had a good time here 😊

Came here on a Sunday of a long three day weekend with a party of two. We were wanting to grab a drink to pass the time as we waited for our table at Burma Superstar to be ready.Originally we were trying to grab a drink at the place nextdoor but they were having a comedy show that required tickets and the owners recommended we check out Scarlet Lounge...and so glad we did!My boyfriend and I got two dirty vodka martinis ($10 each). They were tasty! Bartenders and staff were super friendly. And the vibes and ambiance were great.Will definitely be back if we are in the area.
Absolutely love this place, as a visitor to the area and when you are a little homesick and looking for a place with hospitality, ambience and that local feel this is your place . Very grateful to be given a seat at this bar !

!! Fraud Alert !! Check your statements. This place charged me (cleared transaction) much higher than my receipt showed/what I signed for. They don’t answer the phone and don’t call back after leaving a voicemail to address this.Bar was nice enough, but safer to use cash only here.
