Went to store last week get some sausage the clerk refused to slice sausage and told me : don't you have a knife slice at home.
I've been coming to that store for years and never had problem .
None of the products have a price , a lot of the products are expired and in case you pay with credit card double check total

While on Giri I always went to this store for groceries, but after yesterday I will never return here again. I went into the store 20 minutes before closing. The seller (Russian speaking) was tired and dissatisfied. When I asked him to cut the purchased ham into pieces, he dropped one of them on the floor, cursed rudely, said that there was no such thing anymore, and complained that almost none of his customers had knives at home today. He asked why I needed to cut the ham into pieces. To which I replied that it would look beautiful on the table. He started shouting that I simply didn’t try to eat it from ugly pieces. At the same time, his tone was raised and dissatisfied. I ended up leaving with sliced ham but disappointed. I told the seller that if it bothered him so much, then I would not come back here again. We all get tired, but spoiling the mood of customers is wrong. I didn't expect this. All their products are excellent - but with this kind of service I don't want to buy them anymore!!!

Here’s a super honest review. I’ve been here twice now and my first experience seemed very odd and I didn’t want to do a review on what could have been an anomaly. But now that I’ve been twice I feel I can honestly make my review.

First off, the product is good and authentic and if you need just that this is a good place for polish product even in a small location the selection is great. The sausages are very good and so too is the fresh meals that are available.

Now for the part that is very off putting. Twice the person serving me who could also be the owner was very terse and I would say rude to me. Both times! I didn’t do anything either time to deserve it and was the first time ever I have experienced this kind of “service”. He doesn’t listen, gets frustrated very quickly and rolls his eyes a lot too.

I simply cannot spend this kind of money anymore if this is the way I am served. Heck I couldn’t even order anything else that I needed. Will not be back.

I’ve been coming to Seakor Deli for years and always had wonderful experiences, but today I left absolutely shocked. The salesperson (not the owner) was incredibly rude and behaved in a way that was honestly disturbing.

We asked for five pieces of a certain cheese, and he responded with, “Wow, five?” When we asked if that was a lot, he snapped back, “Is that a lot for YOU?” I tried to ignore the attitude, but then it got worse.

While ringing us up, he announced, completely unprovoked, “I HATE kids,” as my mom stood there with my daughter. When I asked why, he said, “They are disgusting to me.” I was stunned and honestly a bit scared by how hostile and inappropriate he was—especially saying something like that in front of a child.

I hope the owner is reviewing these messages, because it will take just one person to call the police on this guy for harassment.

I don’t know what is going on with this person, but this behavior is unacceptable. I will not return as long as he is working there.

The salesperson is horrible ,rude and disrespectful. He creates horrible , negative energy , he Non stop makes faces , rolls his eyes , constant resting” which” face . Rude comments, it’s like he has always a problem with being there ! It used to be such a pleasure for me to go to this Polish store . I can’t do it anymore . I have been customer for 15 years . I knew original owner and Jerry . They were always so kind ,but this pathetic guy just killed it for me . He freaked out at the guy who made a noise with a glass bottle against the counter . I was so embarrassed and km not he owner ! I love the food , but it’s not worth it . I spoke with Polish people from our small community and so many of them had the same negative experience with him . I’m shocked he still works there . He creates such a bad impression of this Polish store .I know he is not Polish since Most of us Polish people are kind and friendly . He is nothing like that . I am praying Jerry will fire him .

My friend brought me here the first time, and on my second visit alone, the staff was very friendly to me.
I bought:
Smoked salmon — rich and flavorful as always;
Thin sausages — tasty and not too fatty;
Strawberry jam — not what I expected (more like jelly or gummy strawberries), but still delicious;
Cheesecake — tastes great;
Eggplant & tomato spread for bread — haven’t tried it yet.

I’ll definitely come back again.

A Polish friend of mine complained about them being rude. I thought they just didn’t get along because I knew that the salesperson was usually somewhat curt. “At least they have good meats!”, I thought. But today I experienced it first hand. They had a sign saying they had bigos and I asked about it. The man bluntly said they didn’t have any. Trying to be friendly I said that it was ok and then I hear: “If it’s ok, why do you ask? You like wasting your time?” It sounded very strange but misunderstandings happen so I brushed it off without answering. But my next question resulted in even a bigger awkwardness. I don’t think I provoked it in any way. I don’t think it’s a simple lack of social skills, the man obviously enjoys being offensive. I am not an over sensitive person but it wasn’t the first time and today they definitely lost two more customers of many years… in addition to my Polish friend. I checked their reviews and see that people generally don’t like leaving negative comments—it is understandable—but the few negative reviews are supported by more people. So, I am not just a single disgruntled customer. I don’t recommend this business or simply buy their stuff without talking to them. Their sausage isn’t worth the trouble.There is plenty of great stores around.

I’m not going to shop there anymore and I don’t suggest this shop to anyone.

Today I had the worst experience of shopping in USA. The guy almost pushing me and my wife to don’t buy anything! So rude and no manner !
We entered empty shop “ to our surprise “ he was sitting ignoring us like nobody is there. I tried to be polite said hello in polish nothing come back as a reply but an angry look . I look at my wife she was confused as well . Then I started to talk English thinking maybe this young fellow cannot speak polish . Then he started to interrogate us , where are you from? Why you can talk polish ? I tried to keep the atmosphere calm said , I’m a long term customer I know the first generation of this shop. He ignored me and started talking to my wife ?!
I was going to buy many items but I felt I can’t eat anything from that shop anymore.
I’m over 10 years customer of this shop. I started buying products when the first generation an old polish couple was running the shop. Very polite and respectful and always welcoming my broken polish language by laughing and making fun. The best part of shopping was the atmosphere also to be honest the products is good. I suggested many friends and coworkers over 10 years to go shopping there.

This is my favorite place to get polish style sausages in the city, or anywhere around really, especially the chicken kabanosy which I always have to get. Goes perfect with vodka and pickles. Before I head off on a camping trip I get a couple pounds of their dried/cured kabanosy and add it to my camp stove recipes instead of buying jerky or salami. I have a hard time not eating it right away though! The sausages are excellent with better prices than many other stores in the city for a superior product. I like adding the hunter sausage and polish sausage to stews, stamppot and even sliced thin as a pizza topping. Hope they never go out of business. Counter staff are awesome and friendly. Also their baked goods are delicious, my favorite is any poppyseed type sweets they have.
