Serranos is a staple in the Mission District. Pizza is always on point and crispy.

Great little hole in the wall spot in the city, slices are huge, don’t be deterred by the price you get so much bang for your buck

Used to walk by all the time and it smells so good. When I finally bought I was really disappointed.
It’s pricey for what they offer. Not great quality pizza, never came back.

best pizza in sf hands down--no cap--sf native btw

Just the best pizza in the Mission, had down. The sauce, the crust both superb. Individual slices are ridiculously generous. If you're not getting a Detroit or deep dish, this is the spot. Very limited seating. Little more than the counter. But that's not the point of this place. Get a slice and eat for 5 minutes, or get the pie to go.

Some of the better pizza in town. A little pricey ($5-8 a slice pricey) but the food is quality. Given there is not a lot of great pizza in SF, this spot is deserving of the price and a solid 4 stars.

Just got cheese, can tell the other slices look yummy too.

Oh but definitely you gotta stop the homeless people from staying in here. They tried to charge me $1 for a box, but I didn't want to leave ... it just wasn't safe there with the homeless guy going around to everyone and being weird.. I argued that I was not comfortable there and they owe me a box so I can eat my meal elsewhere ... but these are very specific San Francisco problems that if the staff is not dealing with, will destroy your business. This should be a 5 star review, but the -1 star is because I had to literally argue with the staff for a box instead of the staff arguing with the homeless person to remove the problem.... like really? (The poor guy tried, but the lady just stood there and argued with me over a dollar box.... like, help your dude out girl). Hope this helps, save your store, it has good pizza.

It's small inside, but food is excellent

Parking: There's paid park right across the street nit far walk distance or if you can find street parking

Kid-friendliness: Yes, it's a small pizza place, limited sitting and space

It feels like the classic NY pizza places of my childhood. A thin, crispy slice with good toppings on a paper plate. The space is dim, with classic counters on both walls and a couple of tables outside. I had my slice in under 10 minutes and enjoyed it deeply. Highly, highly recommended on all counts, but don't expect it to be something it's not. It's a hole in the wall pizza joint. Not fancy, and that's just how it should be.
