Incredible food, service and ambiance. We really enjoyed the experience. The hosts were super attentive and knowledgeable of all items on the menu and ensured we were very well looked after.
outstanding service, ever present yet unobtrusive. enthusiastic and thoroughly knowledgeable about food.
Food and service were exceptional. The two of us shared the crudo special, Prosciutto di Parma Salad, Tagliatelle and then Grilled Sakura Pork Chop. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, perfectly seasoned and balanced - A+. We appreciated that the pork chop was sliced which made it easier for us to share. Highly recommend ending the dinner with some Moscato D'Asti.
On a friend's recommendation we chose Seven Hills to celebrate our anniversary. Start to finish it was a wonderful experience! Every staff member was gracious and warmly attentive, the hostess who greeted and seated us, our servers. The owner, Alexis, radiating charm and hospitality, made us feel incredibly welcome, taking time for an extended conversation about our celebration, our mutual friend connection, the restaurant's story and approach. The food was delectable. Marinated olives, warm herb foccacia and Fior di Latte Burrata to start (how much do citrus, pomegranate arils and pistachios love each other?). Followed by the Star Route Farm Beets (with surprise delight of horseradish tang). An evening's special squid ink fettucine with Dungeness crab (divine) and then the Grilled Sakura Pork Chop (so tender and succulent). Alexis and team made our celebration very special by treating us to a scoop of delicious vanilla ice cream and two glasses of Moscato. Which along with the Blood Orange-Campari sorbet and Panna Cotta we had ordered made for a pleasantly varied and sweet finish to our meal. Whether for a special, celebratory event or simply an excellent meal and evening out, I highly recommend Seven Hills.
Wonderful, inventive food paired with great service equals a fantastic evening every visit. Love this place!
Absolutely delicious meal. We all ordered pasta and cleaned our plates. Our server Will was terrific and recommended an absolutely perfect glass of wine to go with my crab ink pasta. Love the fact that they manage the noise levels so you can actually have a conversation across the table without saying “what? What?” Overall great experience and best of all our meals were great!
We love every visit to Seven Hills. The waiters are wonderful, the food is amazing, and it's great ambience.
We loved our experience at Seven Hills. We celebrated my husband's promotion and Laurann made us feel so welcome!! Wonderful place and energy. We will definitely be recommending this place to all our friends!
We arrived early and the hostess was very pleasant and accommodating. Highly professional staff and not stuffy. Fabulous pasta dishes and the salads are very generous, easily enough for two. Foccacia bread absolutely fresh and delicious. We will definitely return on our next trip to the City in March. Absolutely delicious experience in every aspect!
This is one of our favorite Italian places in the City. Great pastas and wonderful service. Thank you!

We are delighted to have found this jewel in our neighborhood. The food was excellent and the portions generous-- from the duck pâté and mushroom soup appetizers, the umami-rich radicchio salad with anchovy dressing and aged parmesan, to the tagliatelle with rich beef and pork rib sugo. The service and ambience are some of the best we've experienced in the post-pandemic dining scene in SF. We can't wait to return as well as to try the sister restaurant, Collino, up a few blocks.
Incredible dining experience. Food was so fresh and vibrant. Pastas were incredible. Sea bass was so buttery. Burrata dish was a standout. The mix of flavors and textures in each dish worked so well together. No notes!
The food and service was outstanding! The only drawback was the noise level and tightness of the seating/tables, and we had to yell to hear each other. But overall Seven Hills was a delicious experience!
SO DELICIOUS! Pastas were amazing. So grateful to know that they have GF options - and also to know that the pasta is made in house! Staff was so kind and helpful in navigating the menu, both in general and for any allergies/personal favorites. Every part about the experience was wonderful. Will be back again!
