This is my FIRST yelp review - this place was SO BAD that I had to sign up on yelp and warn everyone NEVER to go here!! First off, the owner lied to us and told us the pizza was "cooked 10 minutes ago" - when we took a bite of the pizza it was clearly hours, if not days old!!! It tasted like cardboard - i love pizza and usually eat any pizza in front of me as it is my favorite food - but this was so bad that I had to stop after a few bites. Regardless the owners lied, when confronted they continued to lie and charged us an arm and a leg! DONT EVER GO HERE!

We waited almost 20 minutes for someone to come take our order, and then waited another hour for two hamburgers and a fish sandwich to be served. Food was not great. Service was so slow and unenthusiastic. We only went here because it had the shortest line on a busy Saturday, but maybe we should have taken that as a hint.

Terrible food. Dirty utensils. Steer clear of this place. We tumbled in off the ferry, only because we were hungry, and this place looked empty, and not too pretentious. Should have looked up their Yelp ratings. The only reason they are in business is probably unsuspecting tourists like us, who may never come back but often can't tell the next tourist headed to Sausalito

Agree with other Yelpers. My friends and I were hungry and it was a BUSY Saturday in town. We walk in and it was empty (which probably was the first sign). Our server was blah, my burger was almost average and it almost felt clean.

First the good news. The waiter was very nice and a 20 oz Stella was only $6.00. Now for the bad. Worst pizza I have ever had, I'm 78 years old and have had many pizzas, really, trust me. The bus person was indredibly rude. She literally threw her used dishes into her carrier pan with as much noise as possible. To say that this place lacks pride of ownership, would be a mighty understatement. I just can't go on. You get the idea. Trust Yelp on this one, except the Two Star is overly generous.

Not a bad place but could use some improvements. Here is the skinny. I actually liked the seating area out back with the greenery. Nice feel to it. The service was adequete. It appeared that the servers were stressed and I understand that the public can be a beeotch. Our server was efficient and I had no problem. The food was good, I would go back.

Definitely worth nothing more than 2 stars. On a trip to Sausalito we decided to have lunch here. It was overpriced for the food and really bad service. 80 bucks for 2 pizzas and a drink is definitely overpriced. We were charged 18% gratuity (although we were 5 and his applies to a party of 6+ as per the menu). On disputing they removed it but it shouldn't have been there in the first place. The owner (an old man) was pretty rude in his service. The toilets were unclean too. Overall, not recommended at all.

Stay away from this nasty place. We found a roach in the pepper shaker. The servers are rude and crappy. Let me count the ways this place sucked. The pizza was horrible.

AVOID. There are flies everywhere you have to keep swatting away from your food. The table linens are dirty. They bring the orders out one meal at a time with about a five-minute interval so your order gets cold while you're waiting for everyone else to get their food. The food is terrible. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the waitress yelling at the kitchen staff over the blotched orders. OMG we just wanted to get our check and get the hell OUT of there.

I had ice cream here. Which is OK. I guess it's some standard ones you can buy in the supermarkets. The place looks cheap-ish although the price isn't (not expensive though), just normal. The service is not super friendly indeed, but also not to the point of dis-respectful though. I'm not really as negative as other reviews, but I consider the place below average. If you come to Sausalito all the way from SF (or even farer), I would suggest try some other places even if there are lines, unless you really really want some ice creams (or hamburger, whatever) right away.

It's really odd seeing these awful reviews from people about this place. Granted it's not the best place in the world to eat but I've never had a meal that was not appetizing and I've been a patron on and off for the last 21 years. I've never had the ice cream so I can't comment on that. The servers have been there since I was a child and it's kind of what you expect. I seriously doubt they'll switch out servers anytime soon hahahaha....all in all it amazes me how people will eat at McDonald's and then turn around and call Seven Seas unappetizing.

My god this spot has miserable reviews. I've been here twice whilst visiting Sausalito. This restaurant has been around for aaaaaages. It could definitely use the help of Gordon Ramsay and perhaps a renovation but the garden is lovely and the concept of this restaurant is actually quite good. This is a spot meant to attract tourists, yes, and that is perhaps what they are doing wrong. I would really like to see this restaurant do well. Both times I came I had the Chioppino which was quite good and everything that you'd expect it to be. people who come here for burgers & hot dogs & mickey mouse foods are defenitely not going to like it - I mean I don't think that is wot this place is meant to serve.

I really want you all to read this review. DON'T GO! There is a reason it is empty when you walk by. First off the back rooms are kind of dumpy, garbage on the floor. And flies do you like flies? I hope you like flies because there are a lot of them. The ancient waitress cannot get your order right. They forget your drink order as soon as you order it. The delays are endless. I am talking an HOUR wait for your fish and chips entree. Small children are crying for their food. Forget about any follow up to your drink or food order when you finally get it. When your meal does come, the waitress will yell"chicken sandwich!" Because she can't remember who ordered anything. And if you ordered it without mayo good luck, because it is coming with it whether you like it or not. Spaghetti is over cooked, meatballs taste like pink slime, there may not be any garlic on the garlic bread. After and hour, two of our entrees never appeared. There is no air conditioning or wi fi service. Now let's talk price, WAY overpriced. RUN, don't walk to the next nearest place.

This place, oh, if only I had reception in the restaurant, I would have had some idea as to what's coming. Let's start with the bad before I move to the really bad. 90 yr old waitresses do not get orders right because they can't hear you most of the time. We ordered two hot dogs and a pizza. Hard order? Maybe. We added a grilled cheese and zucchini sticks. We ended up getting the pizza ($26, which is almost as good as the frozen one I make at home) first and then had to wait 5 minutes on kids hot dogs. The food is so average, they should change the name of the restaurant to average food. What was worst, was the check, $73 not including tip! I was pissed to say the least with crappy food, awful service and a large bill to top it off.

My aunt and I decided to dine here because we were hungry and "ice cream" was printed on the restaurant's awning. When we walked into this place, we saw a little freezer with a relatively small selection of ice cream flavors. My aunt whispered, "Let's get ice cream somewhere else after we eat." I agreed. The dining area was in the back, where the wild things are. And by wild things I mean tables, chairs, fake trees, and dust. When we arrived, we were the only patrons there. Nobody was there to seat us, so we were going to sit at a 4-person table. The server swooped in from nowhere and hissed, "That's for 4 people." He directed us to a 2-person table instead. My aunt glanced at me and we exchanged a "how r00d" look. The menu was sort of disappointing. It was typical soups, salads, sandwiches, and diner-type food. But what did we expect? We ordered calamari as an appetizer. My aunt ordered chicken Caesar salad as her main dish and I a Reuben sandwich. After the server brought out our drinks, he asked, "Do you eat bread?" Well, seeing as I ordered a Reuben, I thought the answer was obvious. But I nodded and said, "Yes," anyway. The server brought out a basket of bread and butter. Then our calamari came out. The first piece I ate was a-okay. It was crispy and light. The next piece wasn't so good-- it was chewy and overcooked. My aunt wasn't impressed with it at all. She thought the cocktail sauce tasted abnormally sour. Our entrees came out not long after our calamari. My aunt disliked her salad. The chef drenched the lettuce with Caesar dressing (granted, my aunt did not ask for it on the side, but a chef should know not to drown salads in dressing...). My aunt also said her chicken was unappetizing because it didn't taste fresh. On the other hand, I liked my sandwich. I had been a Reuben sandwich virgin prior, though, so my taste buds were unaccustomed to quality Reubens. The bread was a bit too oily/buttery, but I'm a glutton so like whatever, man. It was buttery and meaty. What's not to like (besides clogged arteries and heart disease)? I would have given this restaurant 2 or maybe 3 stars if our bad experience/impression concluded there. But nope, it continued. The server brought out the bill. My aunt went to the restroom and gave me some cash. I looked over the bill to make sure we weren't being overcharged because the total was around $45 which is redonkulous for a salad, sandwich, calamari, hot tea, and water. It turned out that our actual total would have been around $36 (excluding tax), but our server had the audacity to tack on a $6 gratuity charge. Wat. First of all, it's r00d to calculate your own tip with a 2-person party (I understand a party of 6+ people). And secondly, that dude did not deserve a ~17% tip! I waited until my aunt came back from the restroom to tell her about this. She sighed, "Whatever," and paid the amount we owed according to the bill (which included the pre-calculated gratuity). So with that, this place earned itself another 1 star review.
